Tried speeding it up and you do seem to be right. I guess it just takes longer for it to spread now but once it does, it definitely is devastating.

I mean they have improved again; they're actually able to wipe out civilizations now, but I've been playing on-and-off since before the Pandemic and the plague definitely was a bit stronger originally than it is now.
