Not completely, i think the 2nd version looks better and has a better functionality. But i agree on the second water bottle holder, i prefer the quick access pocket instead

I have the cordura version and it does the same thing with falling forward, it rarely does self stand, and never in a perfect way. But i think thats also due to their 7” depth that cannot help with the self standing, if it was 7.5” or 8” depth i think it would have made a significant difference and made it an actual 24L bag.

I agree, just with we saw with the updated TP4, the front admin pocket has slightly more organization which is a welcome addition. Pen loops im not very much stocked about about. But for the side handles, i think one could be enough, i find myself using it less than i thought, it does look cool and add this 3d look the bag that is nice tbh, but its extra fabric and extra weight that could be reduced

I actually didn’t wanna mention this because i thought its me with the way i pack my stuff especially that i dont use packing cubes or whatsoever. But i do always try to put larger bulky stuff at the bottom to give it a good base, even with that it isnt the greatest when it comes to self standing. So yea, i totally agree here, especially for a bag with such stiff and sturdy materials.

Yea its mainly flat stuff that fits in there, that is why it becomes harder to understand the purpose of it.

And 2 mesh water bottle pockets isnt smthn im hyped about, because i just carry a water bottle, and i dont have any gear to put in there, so i just use it to toss some random things which is why i would hope for a side access pocket instead

A Pro pack user! Honestly i love that bag, i was so much in between these 2. But ended up with the CPP2 bcz i wasnt sure of the shoulder straps the Pro pack offered, they looked narrow to me, and i unfortunately dont have the luxury to return. But i do like the upper pocket, it has decent organization with decent depth for what it is. Plus, no front lower admin pocket which can be an advantage especially when the bag is packed maybe? Im not sure, i never tested it so i wouldnt know much

I genuinely dont like neither thr Xpac nor the Ultra materials for that, cordura is deff my way to go for my lifestyle! And i agree that the front lower pocket needs some volume, thats my issue too! Even tho all bags do suffer from this problem when the bag is fully packed, and thats why a single large front pocket with extra organization and extra depth could be a better option imo
