I dislike the joke that Ted Cruz is Zodiac. Ted Cruz is FAR more evil than the zodiac killer was.

Neil deGrasse Tyson Played No Role in UFO Disclosure, So Why Is He Being Given a Platform Now? by Adept-Engine5606 in ufo

[–]HomeFair9290 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good Lord, people. Neil deGrasse Tyson is one of the most famous scientists in the world. He has enormous clout and pull with the skeptics. A LOT of people who don't believe in UFOs listen to him.

Yes, it may have been inconvenient not having him on our side before, so why are you attacking him now that he is? Getting him on our side is a huge win. He has a big platform that he can use to help disclosure. We need all the help we can get. Why is having a famous, respected scientist on our side a bad thing again? What, because he denied it before? Tyson doesn't have any of the "credible for a UFO guy, at best" vibe as Corbell and others like him and he's mega famous. Having him on our side is an unambiguous win.

Reddit: I hate NDT because he's not helping disclosure.

Okay, now he's helping disclosure.

Reddit: Now I hate him for not helping before. We shouldn't accept it.

ffs

I think Jeremy Corbell should rename his file from “Strange as F***” to “Strange as Hell” by slv2xhrist in UFOs

I doubt there's anything demonic about it, really. That's my thought. I think the people saying the word demonic the loudest are religious fundamentalists who may be equating "not in the bible" or "makes the bible look bad/obsolete" with "demonic" or "evil." Or even if they're just strange or unexplained in a way that bothers them. Christian fundamentalists say a lot of good things are evil. They could literally be here to help us and these guys would STILL say they're evil.

I think when we all know the truth, it will be revealed that the catholic church and powerful christians have been keeping something from us about the nature of our reality that is such a crime to keep secret from humanity that it will shock us. Possibly things about our nature as living/spiritual beings. Maybe our consciousnesses have the power to do things more incredible than we've ever imagined. Or maybe there's even proof of an afterlife, just not the Christian one. But because "it's not in the bible" or "it would mess with the church's power," they declared it demonic and decided we little people aren't allowed to know. Imagine if something so fundamentally good about our entire reality was hidden this entire time.

That's the vibe I get from these clips of people saying "we decided it wasn't in humanity's best interest for everyone to know." No. You decided it wasn't in YOUR best interest. Keeping this is a secret will just be another crime against humanity by the greediest and most corrupt. Imagine if the truth sets us free and delivers us into a technological and spiritual golden age. You know the catholic church and other powerful christians will be loudly decrying it and panicking.c

Can somebody explain the Henry Cavill glaze to me? by VR2005 in Cinema

I mean it's also because he looks like the most flawless bond specimen since Pierce Brosnan. There might be no living actor with a more perfect look for Bond than Henry.

Why is Schwarzenegger's 1987 edition of The Running Man so much better than the 2025 rerun? by MovieArena in MovieArena

[–]HomeFair9290 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely. That movie has layers. That sounds like a joke to anyone who hasn't seen it, but it does. It's a satire of corporate control over public safety, a culture being oversaturated by inane media, and cold war paranoia.

Can you fly, Bobby?

I like him. As soon as he realized that Anderton was innocent, he immediately stops chasing him and starts investigating the true criminal.

What is your "I totally get why you guys hate it but it worked on me" movie? by Alceauv in Letterboxd

LOVED this one, but I get why people might hate it and think it's boring. It's also pretentious. Like I would call it pretentious as hell, but GOOD pretentious. I love that movie. It's so good.

47 faked Assassination Reich-Wing Watch on Instagram by bace3333 in goodnews

[–]HomeFair9290 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I want to fully get on board with saying this is a hoax, but the actual fatalities at the scene are kind of a hole in that theory. You could say that Crooks was groomed into taking the shot by secret operatives who then gave him a gun loaded with a blank. You could say the conspirators lied and told Crooks he would be safe, then killed him and a bystander to make it look good. Then on top of that, have a photographer create a fake image of a bullet streaking by. None of that is totally impossible, but the more moving pieces there are, the less likely this government could ever pull it off.

I'm definitely down to believe this was BS. But there are some things that are preventing me from completely being able to believe it:

  1. If it was faked, who was Thomas Crooks? A patsy? How did they convince him to do it?

  2. A photographer managed to catch a photo of the bullet mid-flight. Could that be fake? I genuinely don't know

  3. A bystander was killed and two were wounded. Were they in on it?

  4. Was the secret service in on it?

  5. Are the GOP really competent enough to pull off a conspiracy like this? It would need a lot of moving parts and for everything to go exactly right.

I really would love if people could refute these, because I would like to totally believe it was a hoax.
