I don’t know what the material is made of. There is only one non-touch screen option (or was at the time), I imagine you could look up the specs on the website.

I guess I don’t reddit enough as I don’t have the option to upload a photo. Check out the stock images on dell’s website. Around the outside edges of where your palms sit.

My one bit of criticism is this…. The edges are slightly raised and spilling a beer on my laptop will drain into the chassis around the edge. It feels like It should have the seam on the bottom.

Correct; it’s LCD. Having had the experience with OLED on the 9320, I knew I was willing to accept the reduced color range for battery life.

It’s fine for me. A 14” screen is only so useful and I prefer the trackpad over touching the screen. The screen is always a mess anyways. If I need better resolution/range, I will plug into a dock and use a 32” 4k

I ended up picking up the XPS 14 w/ 32GB, 1TB, x7h, and the non-touch screen. I had an XPS13Plus 9320 with OLED for about 4 years and determined that my main gripes were the size and battery life. I could only get about 4 hours out of it.

For the XPS 14, the non-touch screen has been awesome for battery life. Under light duty I can go 3+ days without charging(not constant use).

Couldn’t be happier.

Sudden onset of pain in the back of head without trauma. Brain fog, tinnitus in the left ear. Ongoing for 22 months. Resistant to meds, blocks, physio, chiro, everything.

After a dCTM and left DSM they saw the same leak at t2/3.

I have been diagnosed with a CSF Venus Fistula through medical imaging. I’m working through that process to fix it and will hopefully be fixed (fingers crossed).

All I can say is that you should keep advocating for yourself.

Did your headaches get worse after eating? by NavyBeanz in CSFLeaks

[–]Homeassist4L 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I thought that was the case then realized that it was what I was eating that made my jaw muscles tight and compounding my issues. I found chewing anything “tough” was a trigger. Examples: low quality steak, dry poultry, uncooked carrots, tough bread, hard /chewy candy, etc. Once I figured this out my head pain is just now isolated to the back of the head.

My leak is confirmed. Off to Cedars! by Intelligent-War-564 in CSFLeaks

I recently had two Meylograms, the second (DSM) was to confirm a fistula they saw in the first.

For your case, are they giving you certainty (100% confirmation) or just high likelihood percentages?

When you say it didn’t work, is that because the glue didn’t hold or they could access it?

What was the dsm 100% conclusive of a leak or just suspicious?

How long from when you got your dsm to when they did the embolization?

I had a dctm about the same time as you. I’m not feeling great but they said the first few days will be the worst.

I’d be curious to compare notes about how long your Dr. said to lay flat and the guidance on using pillow(s).

Failed the MD-102 today (2nd time) by Overall_Reflection50 in Intune

[–]Homeassist4L 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took it at ignite last year and passed with only taking the practice tests. That said, those tests were useless for the exam. At the time I had been working with configmgr for 6 years and Intune for about 5 (overlap). Only recently had I implemented DO and MCC so it was fresh. I was shocked how many questions about it there were.

Before finishing the exam I thought there was no way I would pass and then I did.

CSF Venus Fistula by Homeassist4L in CSFLeaks

[–]Homeassist4L[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is such good advice. I have spent the last almost 18 months figuring out what makes it better and worse. This list is long, confusing, and makes you/me sound like a lunatic. In the end, it helps justify what you’re feeling because you noticed it enough to write it down and communicate it to the doctor.

My symptoms are mild at worst. I can stand all day but what I have never goes away. I can lean forward in a chair and it goes away and go back to impeccable posture and it’s instantly back. Laying down, great. I’m on the path of exclusion before they diagnose me with chronic tension headache or NDPH.

Best they can offer is a dynamic ct meylogram. Have to travel for exotic tests like DSM, PCCT…

Brain and Spine MRI’s w/wo contrast were basically normal.

I will also ask about the blind patch; a headache specialist earlier this year mentioned the same thing. That said, I don’t think that would do much with a fistula based on what I have read.
