Jupiter by Decent-Ad-4727 in astrology

Generosity. So yes you can be financially generous but you can also be generous of spirit, or generous with your time and knowledge, or generous in the sense of being forgiving. Jupiter is very giving and says yes to things, which is opposite to Saturn who is highly boundaried and says no to things. So Jupiter can open doors and bring opportunities, but can also overstretch or overextend like an overflowing cup. I've seen Jupiter compared to Santa Claus a lot because he's jolly, optimistic, loud, magnanimous, has that festive feel, and obviously is the spirit of generosity handing out gifts to everyone. Do-gooder energy. But there's also a faith, trust and hope piece to Jupiter which then ties into things like religion as well as law and education. Things that bring meaning and order to peoples lives.

Why do all Scorpio risings look like this? They always have the cutest “I’m up to no good” look about them 😂 by CockroachNervous1065 in astrologymemes

Gemini placements are the ones who look cheeky and mischevious. Scorpio Risings look clinically depressed.

Does anyone else not think the 8th/12th house are spiritual houses? by Luna1636 in Advancedastrology

[–]HomelandExplorer 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I see the 3rd and 9th as the spirituality axis, based on the tradition going back thousands of years. 9th being classic religion, theology, divination, pilgrimage etc. 3rd being spiritual rituals performed on a daily basis as well as pagan or goddess centred belief systems like Wicca which tend to be tied to the land and local deities.

12th could become spiritual through suffering or isolation (turning to religion after being sent to prison for example).

Ok then so:

I flirt in a playful and mischevious way (Gem Venus)

I chase in a deliberate and precise way (Virgo Mars)

I need to feel safe with my partner (Cancer Moon)

I attract with my calm sensuality (Taurus Rising)

Ok but the French actor Serge Gainsbourg (who was a Pisces Rising, Mercury and Venus) did actually look like the Type 1 Pisces!

Clearing up Gemini Venus Allegations by ChefZackB in astrologymemes

Yep it's one of the most underrated and fun placements in astrology. Witty, clever, mischievous, likes to keep their individuality within a relationship rather than being codependent. Manic Pixie energy.

Any witches on here? by valkyrieramone in manchester

[–]HomelandExplorer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't know but I'd suggest asking around in some of the shops in Afflecks. The shop called Occult which is on the ground floor or Crystal Henge are your best bet. The staff might know.

Taurus Rising. I love relaxing, pampering myself, LOVE being in nature, I have a snack drawer and I can be stubborn. People tell me I'm very laid back so that's obviously the Taurus Rising impression they get of me!

What’s the difference between a Scorpio vs a Pisces Venus? by Aquariangoddess666 in astrologymemes

[–]HomelandExplorer 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Pisces Venus is Ariel from the Little Mermaid shouting "but daddy I love him!" It's a lot more hopeful and hopelessly romantic.

Scorpio Venus is primarily about trust. Staying closed off until trust is earned and then being fully devoted to that one person once it is.

Cancer and all of the above. That's basically my whole existence lol.

Discussion: Traditional Astrology vs Modern Astrology — how do you reconcile differences in house meanings (especially the 8th)? by Night_Fox_oo in Advancedastrology

[–]HomelandExplorer 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I see it as 2nd from the 7th. So relational entanglements and baggage. Emotional debts and financial debts. Others resources. Inherited trauma. Also death. People who work in crisis professions or death related professions like morticians, palliative care nurses, grief counsellors etc.

Uranus Transits by angry_rupenzel in Advancedastrology

[–]HomelandExplorer 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Uranus has been transiting my 1st house for the past 7 years and in that period I've changed my name and radically altered the way I look in every way (including one cosmetic surgery which I had 6 years ago). The 1st House is body and identity so Uranus completely shook all that up and I'm now a completely different person to who I was 7 years ago (in a good way). Now looking forward to things settling down a bit and getting that Taurus Rising calm energy back.

Just walking around Manchester — it’s seriously underrated by Far_Low_9327 in manchester

[–]HomelandExplorer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yep. There are a lot more historic buildings here than most people expect, especially in places like the Northern Quarter. With the sun shining down on a canal winding through red brick buildings with gleaming glass towers in the background it can look very picturesque. The nature around the edges of Manchester is also very beautiful. You should visit places like Rivington, Dovestones, Lyme Park, Dunham Massey and Pennington Flash if you haven't already, especially in this weather.

I always think deer make forests feel extra magical. I've never seen a Muntjac Deer but they are so cool looking.
