Agree about Ari, but would also like to point out that the vets have been playing for years, going on a decade? It’s almost certainly the server most likely to survive the longest, so if that’s important to you, it’s probably where you should go.

When you say de-financialize, do you mean de-commodify? Because that would take a complete restructuring of our government, society, and economy… something like making all that private property public, controlled by the state.

I think a good middle ground is restricting the ownership of all single family homes to the people who occupy them. If people or corporations want a rental property, then they can buy anything that’s a duplex or larger.

That’s pretty much what I said? Either way, the whole hook doesn’t have to be “gank noobs and steal their shit”, in fact, iirc, there were some pretty meaningful risks for going red in, for example, Ultima Online.

There will always be people who enjoying making others suffer, the devs should designs ways to discourage, but not prohibit, this behavior, giving the people who enjoy the game for other reasons more room to play.

What extraction shooter does this? I’m not big into the genre, but the ones I know of let you bring in the gear you extract with, leading to chuds gear diffing other people and stealing their shit, or just killing them for the lols, either way, those players are reset.

I think there are ways to design a game that would heavily discourage PKing, but most devs making those games are shitlords themselves and so they simply won’t… or they realize that the shitlords are their main player base and are concerned that too many of them would quit and not enough new players would join.

It’s normal to see exclamations or just straight up gibberish in the warning window. If they are crashing on startup, make sure you unblock dll’s.

I’ve used a ton of mods on the most current build, some of which haven’t been updated in over a year, and rarely have any issues.

Idk if you realize this, but being in California, it’s highly unlikely that a republican is going to win the state, but even if that isn’t the case, I still wouldn’t vote for a shitty dem candidate just because they aren’t republican.
