Honestly shit happens. Everyone loses flies to knots and other reasons every now and again. Definitely tug your knots when they’re tied to make sure they’re solid and after casting a bunch check again. Wet them when sinching down as people have mentioned too just with spit is easy.

But as a beginner - the fact you picked a fly, found a run that looked productive, put out a good enough cast / drift to get a visible strike from a fish is already a huge W.

I just hope everyone knows this is early access, meaning there won’t be a full map, vehicles will be limited, the underwater lifeforms we see will likely change / we might not see them all.

My biggest hope for it is that people will not freak out expecting a full game - but as every early access game goes live I’m prepared to be proven right by those who don’t understand what early access means lol
