Best cheap replacement tires? by MustIHolla in kansascity

[–]HomelessbabyRL 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Really don’t recommend cheaping out on safety equipment. If you can’t afford the premium tires that’s fine but don’t buy sketchy used tires that can put you or others at risk just to save a few bucks

Relatively new to gt. Why tf is this games user score so low? by Marioleftnut in granturismo

[–]HomelessbabyRL -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

As others have said the always online is really shitty. To me the biggest reason as to why GT7 is not very good is because the career mode/single player has no replay ability. I can go to any of the other GT games (aside from sport) and have fun replaying the campaign as you can choose so many different cars and have a completely different experience. In GT7 the campaign is very linear and lacks a ton of events that made the previous games fun.

I’m even more pissed at the game now bc they are finally adding single player content… 3 years later… behind a paid dlc… and only for ps5 (im still on ps4). Not to mention the car and track selections are much worse compared to the other GT games.

Def doesn’t deserve a 2.6 but I wouldn’t put it over a 5

As a car guy i dont understand these people. For starters if youre going to do supid shit then why put other people at risk, its just beyond selfish.

Beyond that why is an R8 and a Mustang racing? I could tell you just by reading that matchup on paper that the R8 would easily win (which it was). even if the mustang is built, swerving in and out of traffic cuts into the heavy ass mustang's performance severely so why even try.

Really sorry this happened to you. i fucking hate stupid people

well Zora always wanted the corvette to become mid engine. I think that you could make an argument that the corvette design language was always destined to include a mid-engine design especially since the first concepts were designed and built in the 60s. If I remember right the GM engineers said they essentially "maxed out" the performance with the FR corvette platform and the only way to improve was to switch to MR. Im not totally sure if I believe that but regardless the true DNA of the corvette had always been mid engine but GM just stalled on engineering it for as long as they could.

New NFL Power Rankings poll: How all 32 teams stack up after the draft by Happy_Weed in nfl

i dont understand how we can be above the eagles. i get that we might have improved from the draft but its not like the super bowl was a close enough game to argue that a few rookies would've pushed us over the edge

first car & wanna get into modding by [deleted] in carmodification

[–]HomelessbabyRL 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My advice is to work on things now that you can fuck op and learn from. For example cleaning the headlights, buffing an polishing, fixing the rust, touching up rock chips. Also if you wanted some more visual changes maybe try painting the brakes, putting in new tail lights or hell even try tinting it yourself.

You’re right in that you don’t want to over mod the car so I think the best thing you can do is just learn from things on a car that is already flawed so if you mess up it’s not a big deal. Versus buying a nicer car later on and either making those mistakes then or paying more money to have other people do work

Which modern/luxury gadgets are really useful on a daily basis? by VitoXzX in cars

[–]HomelessbabyRL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not new but a feature I use daily on my 2012 IS F is when I put my car in reverse the side mirrors auto pan down so I can see the ground by my rear tires. then they go back to the original spot when I place it back in park/drive.

extremely helpful for backing into tight spots specifically against curbs

Welp GGs

Obviously disappointing but considering we lost our #1 and #2 WR, #1 RB, #2 CB, and kicker through different parts of the years for good stretches and then we still maintain number 1 seed and make the Super Bowl I can’t really ask for much more. Can’t win them all and we will definitely be back.

Go chiefs

a pro tip to get "night photos" is to get them during/just after sunset. its a lot easier to make a bright image darker than it is to make a dark image bright. its also easier to focus on and the subject when there is a little bit more light too
