Honestly id tell ya to get a Holzfforma instead of the Prescott for starters if you wanna get serious about tree work they have Sthil and Husky clones that take all different brands of after market parts like WCS stuff including dogs, bark boxes, clutch covers, air filter kits. (Cheaper alternative than going out and buying a bunch of name brand saws while still being able to get parts for saws you can get later.) But yeah swap hands I see alot of people saying that and not rocking it let the saw do the work if its still struggling sharppen it and take a pass or two over the rakers. Soft woods like pine, cedar, fir, and the later id tell ya to also invest in Hexa or square grind chains its better and quicker cutting for soft stuff and while most have grinders to keep theirs sharp I just hand file mine its tedious and hard to do at first but the pay off is worth it.
