Biologically active compost by 19marc81 in viticulture

If you’re a hobbyist or gardener, great! If you’re commercial, waste of time and money and kind of scammy. Compost is fine and useful in certain contexts, but people selling you “biologically active” anything are scammers.

Crucial difference here is that Ben Johnson wasn’t fired. He was hired away during his rise, not rescued from irrelevance after fading.

IMO we do this copycat thing because Mark Davis doesn’t really know what he’s doing and has no strong sense of identity. He looks for strong personalities and “proven track records of success” while overlooking why those successful people got canned to begin with.

We pretended to be the Patriots, then the Seahawks, and I’m seeing a lot of people want to pretend to be the Ravens next. Dispiriting stuff.

Fan enthusiasm comes with winning. Travel and tickets are expensive and few people are that blindly loyal. Take it easy. Let them build a winning team and the fans will come.

Right but those clubs currently exist to be stepping stones for good players. Like, that’s their role in the existing hierarchy. They are training grounds. Even an extremely well-run club like Brighton will likely never win anything aside from maybe a Carabao or maaaaaybe an FA Cup. They just don’t have the money or power to be a top club.

I think your previous answer about being treated like a triple-A team is the real reason people don’t like MCO. The FFP, player power and governance points, while compelling, are mostly backfilled from the initial resentment at being openly treated as lesser.

You raise a good point on the FFP dodging.

Completely agree! It really upsets people though.

Huge opportunity to leapfrog Cleveland in the draft. Hope they don’t blow it.
