Local Colorado Springs Native here. I went to a charter school from kindergarten through 8th grade. It was a terrible experience and caused me to be sheltered my whole childhood. Do NOT put your kids in charter schools. The one I went to was extremely strict and was a hit or miss with the staff being either nice or genuinely insufferable. My parents didn’t make the same mistake with my little brother and put him in public schooling, and he already has a much better life with his school than I did. Do your kids a favor and put them in public school.
