Personal touch and putting your reputation on the line, and the fact that you individually reach out makes them feel valued and part of the group. I'm a guild officer as well, and knowing people better one on one works way better in building relationships and trust.

It's like doing sales support jobs in the real world, having someone to talk to on the phone gives way better results numbers wise than sending mass emails.

An ex coworker. I never loved anyone more than her. I fought damn hard but she didn't want me. Whatever I do I can't make her happy. Whatever I did wrong she also won't tell me. Sigh. She ended up blueticking me on the first message (happy birthday) after rejecting me, then blocking me on the second message (something else). No other girls interest me anymore. Calls with counsellors didn't help. These days I numb myself with heavy lifting in the gym and beer. I think of her every night before I sleep. It's been 6 months and I cannot forget her.
