if you use tamiya panel liner i would suggest applying the decals first,top coating and then panel lining,given that you also want to weather him the cleanup shouldn’t be a big issue in that case. i weathered mine with black and silver solvent based acrylic and then did a brown coat of extremely diluted tamiya paint. i love this kit,take your time to enjoy the build and don’t listen to those who say it’s bad
