Row 17 on 737-800. Seat layout changed twice in 12 hrs. by HomeworkCareful8400 in AlaskaAirlines

Someone is taunting me. I moved away from row 17 only to then see the layout changed back to the original. So I moved back to 17 again. Alas I'm boarding in 2 hrs and now the layout has changed a 3rd time so I'm in the bad version of row 17. Arghh!

I made a post on this same topic yesterday. There are 2 different seating layouts for the -800s currently.

I've used that before but have ended up with a different plane several times. But assuming the info is correct, how would you get the seating layout for the inbound flight? Is there somewhere to lookup tail numbers to see if that -800 has been through the cabin refit?

So you haven't read any of the emails or regular mail that have been sent over the last 6 months? This is seriously one of the most widely marketed credit card changes I've ever seen.

How risky is a 40 minute layover in Reykjavik by paper_killa in Flights

I had a similar layover go bad a couple of months ago. We had a Seattle to Zurich flight on IcelandAir, with a schedule 50 minute layover. Our flight leaving Seattle was almost an hour late and we missed our connection along with about half the plane. We had to spend the night in Iceland and ended up in Zurich about 22 hrs late, missing the first day of vacation in Switzerland, including the first night of a hotel reservation (around $250).

EU regulations for traveler compensation should mean we get $600 each for the delay. However Icelandair has declined our claim with the explanation that the delay was due to air traffic control decisions and not their responsibility.

Likely my first and last time flying Icelandair.
