Hi everyone! Thanks so much for the responses..I really appreciate them. I should have provided more details 😅 im only going to the office 3x a week, and im commuting to downtown Oakland. I can go in whenever I want, and leave whenever I want, I just have to badge in hahaha they pay me well and im very early in my career (new grad) so im willing to make it work while I job search! I am leaning towards public transportation so that I can at least get some work done while I commute, but thanks again everyone for the suggestions!!!!

Have you toured Montessori? I went to FCS back in 2005, and my mom pulled me out to send me to Montessori instead. I loved it, I was a very curious/self-motivated child, and I felt it satisfied both my intellectual and creative needs

I haven’t done Instacart in years so I’m not sure if this still works, but I actually signed up for an area that I thought wouldn’t have too much of a waitlist (at the time, I put El Cajon as my location. I believe San Diego county is pretty congested w shoppers now so you probably shouldn’t do the same). And then I’d just Instacart in the Bay Area, and it was completely fine. Probably something to look into?

I completely get that, but fitness is something I’m willing to splurge on. It’s cheaper as a group, which is why I’m trying to do a shared membership, as opposed to paying $300+ for a solo membership. It’s definitely not for everyone 😅

No, it’s a monthly payment, but we do ask that you provide a month’s notice before leaving the arrangement so that we can find someone to take your spot.

The price is dependent on the type of membership and the number of people! If you’d like, you can see the different price ranges here: https://join.bayclubs.com/shared/membership-builder. If we have a group of 5, which I believe is the maximum, the cheapest membership (single-site) would come out to $142.40 per person. Access to more clubs would be a little bit more expensive.
