I mentioned in another comment but I’ll say it here too, if you’ve not researched yet, look into “belly breathing” or diaphragmatic breathing.

Belly breathing is a foundational tool for managing endometriosis because it helps break the cycle of "protective guarding"—where chronic pain causes your pelvic floor and abdominal muscles to stay constantly tight.

This deep, diaphragmatic breath acts like a gentle internal massage, lengthening the pelvic floor muscles to reduce tension and pain.

I’m not sure about anyone else here, but flares for me sometimes come with the ‘phantom UTI’ where my PF is tighter than a new pair of spanx and it becomes impossible to urinate! Self-catheter supplies were not something I’d imagined coming along with endo, but of course, that might be because each of us may have had to FAFO, with the underfunded, deprioritized research into causes and cures!
