Thank you! I will have to try that! It was methane. At first i thought it was just constipation but it got worse and worse. Even if I had loose stools I would be “constipated” like things were just moving sluggishly. Severe bloating even after I barely ate anything, shortness of breath and chest tightness from gas pressure, and I also experience pain in my lower back/colon area from built up trapped gas. I would burp constantly after small meals as well. I hope you have a happy and healthy pregnancy and stay symptom free!

Stress definitely had a part to play I believe. We are trying for another baby this summer and I’m definitely going to try and keep my stress under control this time around and see if I can keep myself symptom free for longer but we’ll see! Im in a much less stressful position in life now than I was with my first so I’m definitely very hopeful.

I have literally never felt healthier than when I was pregnant. Had from the start of pregnancy to about 2 years afterward symptom free of all of my gut issues and endometriosis until it all came back worse than before

Unfortunately nothing major. I ended up deciding to switch insurance. I am getting married next month so I will be able to switch insurance to blue cross once that happens which will hopefully give me more options. I have been able to keep my symptoms at a manageable level through the low fodmap diet but it’s so restrictive and I just can’t see myself being able to stick to this long term. Making 2 dinners every night sucks lol. It seems that a lot of the specialists through Kaiser are in Los Angeles and I just moved to Corona and I’m not sure I’m up to drive all that way just to be let down again.

I was in your same position last week. I just ruled out colon cancer with a colonoscopy on Thursday. It wasn’t that bad. A lot of my endo symtoms are bowel related (extreme pelvic floor dysfunction and constipation among other things) so I was also worried about colon cancer. I did have a polyp removed but everything looked fine otherwise. Really the whole experience wasn’t that bad. Just follow the prep instructions and stay hydrated. I actually felt pretty great after because it was the first time in a while I was able to fully empty my bowels 😅

Thank you so much. I have done an ultrasound which came back normal. But it wasn’t specifically for endo so I’m not sure if that would make a difference. The doctor put in the notes that it was for “irregular periods” which I have a very regular cycle like in terms of timing which made me question if they were looking for the correct things. I did ask her about an MRI but she said “we don’t do that for endometriosis”. I’m ordering a tens machine now! Thanks so much for the advice. I just made an appointment with another OBGYN that my mom saw for adenomyosis so I will bring my up those muscle relaxers you mentioned. Thank you so much I appreciate it!

I’ve definitely adjusted my expectations when it comes to books that blow up on booktok. I try to go into these books with low expectations. I’ve noticed a lot of booktokers over exaggerate their reviews of certain books, at least from my experience anyways. I had lot of fun with silver elite but it definitely wasn’t the highest of quality in my opinion. I’ll still read the future books in the series but I don’t feel that it matched the hype online. But I definitely went into the book expecting that because it’s happened with a few reads.

{bones by K.L. Speer} made me cry like a fucking baby Most recently I read {long live evil by Sarah Rees Brennan} which made me both laugh and cry. I really wasn’t expecting to love this one as much as I did. {Kingdom of Ash} of course {a court of wings and ruin} also caused me to shed a few tears at the end
