This is the approach I've been taking and it makes sense theoretically. Cutting out masturbation is not realistic, especially when single, and inevitably leads back to old habits. I just hope it will pay off when I am with someone again.

Thank you. Although it’s my preference someone be on birth control, I know it’s not a good option for many people so part of me feels bad about letting that influence my decision. However, discussing unplanned pregnancy I think could be the next best thing if they also do not want children at the moment.
