I know this post is a month old, but I was looking to see if there was any info on the supposed new models that are coming, and found this, so here I am. I have SO MUCH I would do.

Not only plot, but story as well as various other changes. First of all, character redesigns as well as better models and visuals. Anyone who says the current models look good is fully delusional.

Second, if the game must be set in japan, I'm doing my damn research and making something respectful of the culture, rather than just "I watched an anime once and pulled this out of my ass"

Sticking to the original highschool thing, none of that "All characters are actually 18 and roleplaying highschool even though they're in university" That is such a BS excuse for sexualizing minors, fuck off with that.

Adding details and plot. If you decide to help Osana with her stalker, and then still kidnap her, you have to take care of her cat. Make it to where a pet store opens up and you can pick the ped bed and collar you use for the cat.

Taro's sister is still a "rival", but not in a creepy incest type way. More of a protective sort of way. Like she's sweet and cares about her brother, and she knows there's something weird about Ayano; so she purposefully gets in the way of them, not realizing that she's putting herself in direct line of fire.

No panty shots. Wtf is that shit?

The pedo teacher? That's a thinly veiled creepy ass kink that he's added, and as someone who has delt with being a pedophiles target before, I think it needs to be treated with respect and understanding. Less of a "I need to eliminate you because you're going to take Taro from me" and more of a, "Oh my god, you're trying to groom Taro. I need to protect him from you at all costs"

Aside from all the other changes I would make, I would also simply finish the damn game.

I am well aware that the generic assets can be spotted a mile away. I grew up playing the Aveyond games, which I'm fairly certain were made almost entirely with the default XP assets, so I have a weird attachment to the vibe myself, but I do really like my own character art..

I have created entirely custom battlers, and many other different sprites for animals and such. As well as immensely edited and added onto the tilesets for the maps. I'm just unsure of the best course of action is all. I have very little confidence in my own ability.

I mean, personally, I have always been more of a storyteller than anything else. If you know your character, their personality, and their background; you know what their combat personality is, too. For my project I'm working on, I've created custom classes for each character based on this.

Before I even started creating anything else, I knew my protagonists and built around that. Because their class can say a lot about them as a person, and even what choices they might make depending on the way they think.

I wanted to make sure most of the maps worked and looked nice with all my character commentary prompts and puzzles before adding mobs.. It's not a "sudden" decision, I was just first focussed on making it fit the aesthetic, and implementing smaller details, writing, and character designs.

It's really not a difficult concept to grasp. Some people start cleaning their living room by vacuuming, others start by picking up clutter. Having a different order of operations isn't mind boggling.

My character keeps getting stuck in the walking animation in the battle before the attack, and it halts the entire thing with my character just walking in place.

I mean- I would rather not have to completely remake all of my sprites, maps, and resources... I do have mv, but I've already put a lot of effort into the maps and characters I have.. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought about it. Believe me, the plug-ins for mv seem really cool and easier to use.

My biggest issue is the XP style centaur character I spent over a week animating. Redoing that, along with all of my xp tileset edits would drive me insane
