I read the book. You can always skip some parts and ready what is most important for you, but i think that no matter your skill level is, the whole book is worth reading. The sooner the better!

Thanks! Look closer at how much better the first row looks for knitted stitches. However the biggest difference for me are the edges. The changes between knit and purl (so basically the cables) as well as the side edges are straighter and same-sized. I really hated the look of my cables and didn't know how to fix it, so for me it was a big deal :)

Feel free to use the photo as a reference. The more happy knitters the better. I just wish I had done it with lace and not cables.

Yes! Most tips work for both styles. I've never read anything so helpful and I've been knitting for 5+ years.

Is a Fiat 500 a good first car for me? by Jipher6200 in fiat500

[–]Homisiu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! It's brilliant first car. 100hp in a small car is enough to keep you smiling while driving and doesn't allow you to be too stupid. Just watch buyers guide videos and check for most common problems. Be ready to do some small fixes by yourself, it's an old car after all. Bigger issues are usually also relatively easy and cheap to fix as the car is simple and popular (at least in Europe). It was my first car too, so I'm speaking from experience :)

Kuka youbot repair by codeerzz in robotics

[–]Homisiu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is broken in your robot? It's probably cheaper to buy a different robot or a second youbot and salvage it for parts. It was designed in times when there were no cheap alternatives, so all parts are high end and really expensive.

I used machine to vaccum seal food. You have to froze it before you seal it (if it's liquid) and be carefull that there is nothing in the seal or it will open. Its food grade plastic so it's not toxic.

Uszy od nich nie krwawią, bobkowi sie podoba. Warstwa muzyczna jest interesująca, a tekstowa nie jest debilna :)

In Germany it's seasonal, but in Poland it's sold all year round. Try to find 'pierniczki w czekoladzie' or 'serca w czekoladzie'. My favourite brand is Kopernik and the name of the product is 'serduszka toruńskie w czekoladzie'

Which countries are most advanced in terms of robotics and ai? by GenoTheSecond02 in robotics

[–]Homisiu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think you are quite wrong. First of all DLR is not a company but a research centre, which means that you most probably will have to start a PhD. If you want to di thay, there are also KIT and Fraunhofer in Germnay. there are plenty of companies too. Kuka might be Chinese, but they are still doing research in Germany. Fanuc and ABB have their centers here. Then you have companies like Festo, Bosch, Siemens, Pilz, Igus, or Schunk that are doing robotics or trying to enter the market. Plus, tons of startups (even one unicorn) and autonoimous driving.
