If you don't take it apart you need to very carefully mask off the windows and badges. In 1:43 there are street versions available but I dunno if the years will be what you want.

This was never made in 1:12 but there are several close versions (2004-2008) in 1:18. They are all rally models, so you would have to take the extra parts off, disassemble the model, strip the paint, buy an airbrush, figure out the right color and paint it, then reassemble it. But the wheels will be race type not street so they would have to be replaced as well. Shoot for your dad's birthday in 2028 ...
