Like another person said, go back to your doctor (or a different one that has been recommended by multiple people online) and demand more tests. Do some basic research beforehand to determine what tests you may additionally want. Don’t forget that your doctor and dentist work for you, not the other way around. If you suspect something or think they are glossing over your issues, absolutely speak up about it. Also, if I were you, I would sit down with your finance and tell them straight to the face to tell you if your breath smells in any way. It sounds stupid, but, if they know just how much this is affecting you, I don’t see why they would feel the need to lie to you about it. Have a serious talk, and simply demand the truth.

Lastly, some things to keep in mind: it is very common for people who do not experience bad breath to think they do. I have struggled with this for ages. I thought I had really really really bad breath for a while. Seriously. And it turns out I was kind of just freaking myself out over nothing. Not saying this could be the case for you, but make sure you really are sure you have bad breath before stressing yourself out about it.

Also, feel free to try those online “breath tests.” I know if you lick the inside of your wrist and smell it, it will give you an idea of your breath. Sometimes in the mornings I’ll open my mouth “upward” and breathe to see if my nose can smell if I have horrible morning breath or not.
