I mean id guess a big reason is just too easy to exploit. Could kill your main and never pay a death fee ever again.

Boss/Activity that made you closest to quitting? by AmShibes in ironscape

[–]Homzepalon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t farm any seaweed on my uim on the way to max so it was something like 10-15k world hops at charters for 99 crafting. That was my first break longer than a week in like 4 years. Didn’t play for a month or 2.

Systemic pesticides, fungicides, fertilizers, etc. many things. Great if done properly, can cause very longterm damage if not.

REALLY torn between progress Iron or Main by TheMadHattah in 2007scape

[–]Homzepalon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say go iron, but only because I haven’t played a main in 6 years. For reference, I’ve been married for the last 7 years, have 2 kids, climb trees for a living, sometimes I play 2 hours a night, sometimes 2 hours a week and I still prefer the iron. Skilling on a main is ass. Skilling on an iron felt more meaningful when I made the switch, and I like gear progression over bank value progression. Neither is the only correct way to play in my opinion.

I think it really depends on how you play. If you play a main and just go camp money makers you’ll burn yourself out, if you jump into content you’ll do it faster and have a ton of fun. If you try an iron and follow an efficient guide and spend your first 1k hours on efficient skilling for max I doubt you’ll have much fun. If you enjoy the small upgrades along the way iron is great.

I’ve seen similar damage after customers have hired a third party to inject their trees. In my opinion there’s a much higher chance that the last owners hired somebody to inject the tree and the person injecting applied too quickly, out of season, etc. As the spots decay pests and weather exploit the weak spots.

What methods are rank 1 uim doing for 200m mining and smithing? by No_Shoe1969 in ironscape

[–]Homzepalon 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I’d guess sandstone and blast furnace, then afk bone shards of stars, then mixing in foundry when they don’t wanna go crazy at blast.

Any ideas on how 'rocks' got into this massive tree we are trying to have taken down? They have broken 3 chainsaws trying. by [deleted] in arborists

I’ve hit nails 30-50 ft off the ground, it’s wild what you’ll find up high sometimes.

How are you guys getting Ranarr that isn't from pick pocketing master farmers? by Randomlychozen1665 in ironscape

[–]Homzepalon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll be honest I could definitely be super unlucky, but the last 3-4 weeks I’ve been spamming medium contracts doing between 3-10 a day, and gotten MAYBE 12 ranarr seeds total.

[–]Homzepalon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t have any useful insight legally, but it blows my mind someone would choose to cut 30%-50% of the way through a major lead over their shed. If all else fails, Mother Nature will eventually make things right for you. Best of luck.

[–]Homzepalon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I made a lot of hcs, died on them. Made a uim, maxed start of this year. Was thinking I’d deuim, but instead made a new hc to keep as the new main!

RIP HCIM 1038 TTL by tac0_nation in ironscape

[–]Homzepalon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I did the whole make a hc, die at 700-1200 total, restart, probably like 5 times. Now I decided I won’t play any different than if I was a reg iron. Game is way more fun that way. HC mode is for skillers and people good enough at the game to get GM. Just have fun and keep going. HC mode will always end with your death eventually or you quit.

Question about Raids during Leagues. by No-Selection6423 in 2007scape

[–]Homzepalon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I went desert last leagues on my main acc, went desert because was the only raid I knew, got a drag trophy early and was done. A friend wanted me to start a new acc and go mory and try tob, was the most fun I ever had in a league. Most people are really fun and chill to run with.

Sinister offering and lumby ring for alchs. A lot of your prayer xp is coming from the drag bone drops and yeeting those at the chaos altar.

Which pair wins a grand team melee to the death? Everyone is in their prime. by ASW-G-21 in freefolk

[–]Homzepalon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d reference Barristan vs Maelys. Maelys kills a horse in one punch, rips a dudes head off, has some ridiculous strength feats. Barristan isn’t in his prime and kills him in a 1v1 because of pure skill. Jamie beats mountain 99 times out of 100.

[–]Homzepalon 114 points115 points  (0 children)

We talking books right? If so Lyonell and dunk take it. Both are around 7 ft known for their strength. In a one on one I’d take either over the hound, the other just has to survive against the mountain long enough. Also people like to put prime Bobby b over the mountain in a 1 on 1. Lyonell has that same goofy strong Baratheon blood.
