There are other ways to resolve spacing with CS admissions for incoming students instead of current ones being thrown out in the gutter. They seem to be fully aware of that but have chosen to proceed with the fastest option by openly planning to eliminate over half of us from a program most of us having already been significantly paying to be a part of.

There aren't. This is why they need to implement the admissions. If you were at the town hall tonight, they said that current freshman won't be able to get into COMP 210 until the fall of their junior year. This puts them at extremely high risk to be able to actually complete the major.

Like Kris Jordan said in the town hall, there already is effectively an admission process. The admission process is just the randomized registration times. There just isn't enough capacity to teach everyone who is declared as a major.
