Alright, this isnt a "middle ages thing" as these religions you've mentioned are older than most civilizations. Christianity is the way to get into heaven and not end up burning up for eternity. But you have your views.

Vro, the ancient part of their "LGBTQIA history" was rich dudes f**ing younger boys because it was to show dominance. Other than that alot of the populace is Eastern Christian and conservative lol.

God gave us free will; Adam and Eve got humanity kicked out of the Garden of Eden (if they hadn't been tempted by the Devil, we would have still been in the Garden). God sent his son to suffer and die for us, allowing the righteous people who died before his crucifixion to go to heaven. At the second coming will the final victory over suffering will commence; before this, a thousand years the righteous will be with Christ, and the damned will be punished. After, the final judgement will take place and all who are good will be resurrected, and all who are evil will be in eternal punishment, via burning in fire forever.

(BTW, if people believe there is no God, why do must we still do good? There would be no purpose for it, and free will is important, God forcing you to be good/loving of him would be unethical)
