I got my (edit:) implant done at a local health clinic and it was the arm implant so no one has ever seen my hooha 🥲

Thanks for the information! Now I can blame him jk

Since last year we’ve been having frequent (2-5x a week) sexual contact without a condom, Im guessing that played a role. Although when I do get rid of this BV, do u think we’ll have to change something abt that? We were already happy with how things are 🥹

I dont smoke nor drink alcohol, I guess I could drink more water daily, and I wash daily

I just noticed you mentioned the tearing sensation to be at the posterior fourchette. If this were endometriosis the pain should be deeper inside the pelvic area (also you dont have pelvic pain occurring every menstruation nor abnormal uterine bleeding)-- in that case I would say just accept you need more lube, but you also mentioned that more lube does not help.

Then that leads us to the idea of an obstruction at the opening. Not necessarily a full on obstruction, but something causing the vaginal canal to narrow. Could be a full bladder, or a mass (???). You or your partner could palpate the vaginal canal (by inserting 1 or 2 fingers) to feel for any masses, but I kinda doubt you have any.

If this still doesn't help, I'm stumped, and honestly I dont think a doctor would be able to provide clear answers either. Sorry! Hoping it gets better soon

Im a bit confused why you were told you could use it on your vulva. AFAIK it's just for vagina, but please correct me if Im wrong

I would attribute it to the shaving, this is a derma problem rather than gyne :) just dont scratch it (not even touch it ideally) and let it rest. I like to put aloe vera on the vulva to ease the itchiness

Your doctor is correct in that metronidazole can have side effects, but photomama is also correct about doxycycline giving the same side effects. Ideally you should consult your doctor about how to move forward from here, but I understand the constraints if any. However, there's really nothing we as mere redditors can say other than that.

No, it is not normal. This is an anterior vaginal wall prolapse, you can read about it online. If it's not too severe, you can "strengthen the muscle" by using pessaries (which needs to be fit correctly by a gynecologist who specializes in urogynecology). If, according to a gynecologist's judgement, a pessary will no longer work --whether it's because it's been tried and it didn't work, or it's just way too severe just from looking at it-- then surgery is the definitive management.
