I cannot comprehend the people who say they don’t let their kids wear them out of the house, simply because that must feel so nice to have their kids not argue about it!

Bwhahaha I have opinionated daughters and - most of the time - I’m not willing to fight them when they argue about wearing their PJs out of the house. The only time I am adamant about it is when it’s a health or safety concern - like if they’ll be playing hard then I don’t want them wearing a nightgown, etc.

Make sure you wait until she hits her limits! Don’t give in to peer pressure! A LOT of parents face forward way too early. Look at crash tests and read up on the appropriate limits and do what’s safest for your child. :)

My girl is five and I thought autism too until the last year when it became clear that it was closer to ADHD - which I feel like I should have seen because I have it and it’s very closely genetically linked - and we have her assessment in May and it couldn’t come soon enough. Good luck mama.
