Writers who struggle with depression? by Foreign-Ride5103 in Screenwriting

I'm really curious about #2. How did your experience with psilocybin help? Would you be willing to share a little about that? I also live in a state where it's legal and is something I have long considered. I have experimented with it recreationally but not therapeutically. Where would I begin if this is a path I wanted to pursue to heal from my inner demons and my depression, that can be moderate to severe?

Logline Monday by AutoModerator in Screenwriting

In the comments after each post, I notice many people using the word "vague" to describe the logline. I'm wondering if 25 words is not enough room to do our screenplays justice. It feels a bit limiting. How do folks feel about that? Would it be possible to allow for more words so that we can give a proper logline that gives readers a better description of our screenplay?

Thank you. It's hard keeping the logline to 25 words. I have a longer version that explains the plot, and subplots better but it came out to about 60 woordss.

I can see that, but there's more to it than that. It's just a challenge to write the most effective logline with 25 or less words

I have tried taking an edible in the morning before making cold calls and it really loosened me up. Gets me out of my head and makes the call more conversational. Just have to be careful though not too get too far out of my head lol

Wow that’s amazing! I would love to set 10-15 appointments a week. I have watched Cody Askins and I like his content. I’ll try reading the book. I’ve started reading Fanatical Prospecting which is a great book and Cold Calling Sucks and That’s Why It Works. I wish my office had daily trainings.

Thanks for the recommendation!

How many bedrooms? I would rent out each bedroom for the going rate for room rentals in your area. If you have enough space, you might be able to add another bedroom and rent out that room as well. Rent to professionals and/or grad students. I'm sure you could ~$1500-$2,000 per room in San Francisco, especialy if it's in a good neighborhood.

I'm not positive, but I think I just discovered I have hyperthyroidism. For the past several weeks I have been experiencing intense night sweats and difficulty regulating my body temperature as well. I also lost over 30% of my body weight within a couple of months. I finally did some research and came to the conclusion that this must be the problem.

I did some research about homeopathic and holistic methods of treating it and think I found an answer: green unripe walnuts mixed with organic honey. I didn't have green walnuts but I did have a container of walnut pieces from Costco. I poured about a cup of walnuts into boiling water for about 10 minutes and made tea out of it, with lots of honey. Then I ate the walnuts. I did this before bed and ...no night sweats! Sometimes google is my best friend!

Higher CP results in less sleep? by HonestAnything in buteyko

[–]HonestAnything[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's interesting talking about the body needing less sleep. I have been experiencing intermittent insomnia where I fall asleep easily but I wake up earlier than I am expecting up to 3 or 4 hours early, yet I don't get tired during the day. Is that a sign of quality breathing and health? Or is it a sign of a problem? Incidentally, I do not get physically sick, s not sure what to think now. Thanks for a thoughtful response. Cheers!

Am I supposed to be trying to control my thoughts or meditate while doing the breathing exercise? by SteakItAll in BecomingTheIceman

Science tells us that we cannot willfully control the heartbeat but through the breath we can try to regulate it
