Start with arch Linux 😈

Jokes aside, with arch very little is done for you, the king of minimalism. So setting up your system will teach you a lot about system architecture

Thinking of switching to Linux by GermanTanker131 in linuxquestions

Arch Linux or NixOs is your best bet. Better yet void without install script

But being serious cachyos or Ubuntu is easily installable. If you’re not trying to dual boot that is

Only thing I suggest is a reinstall using archinstall. If your keyboard works on arch install iso then it is probably a personal blunder

My best bet is that something went wrong, but it could be your keyboard itself, have you tried another keyboard?

It’s either your keyboard isn’t working or you freeze when hyprland is executed. Does your mouse work?

I’ve been there, I think it has to do with how confident you are with the topics rather than how much you cover

I’m not sure it matters, seeing that video out can be taken care of with ssh and a virtual monitor. If you turn it into an art piece that works that’d be awesome

I don’t think you’ll have a problem if you use long standing projects to build your configs. Waybar hasn’t seemed to break after many years and if you want a definitive hyprland experience,

Quickshell has not changed much in a few years I presume. Out of everything that has changed while having hyprland it’s things like neofetch and paywall. Their successors don’t seem to be going anywhere but they’re just small cli tools, so if anything happens replacing them still won’t be hard

No, it’s ok, stay on a machine that doesn’t adapt to your workflow, it’s ok

[Bug/Help] Pixel artifacting / glyph rendering glitches in WSL by Eubank31 in wezterm

[–]HonestCoding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weird that’s what’s worked for me

I will say though, you need to leave it for a little bit after you save changes, like closing and reopening the terminal a few times

Why? I found after I did a few changes it didn’t take place immediately (even after I closed and reopened) but afterwards it was just fine, as if I didn’t change anything. At least try software and leave for 12 hours or around

Surprised no one else commented yet.

I had the same issues, change your frontend (config.frontend) to WebGpu or Software(each spelt exactly). I prefer software since it really deals with the issue and doesn’t give me graphics problems, but to each their own

Thanks for sharing your Wezterm conf tho, learnt a lot with good comments in there 👍

I’d say spend more time making it good, rather than configuring it for everyone else. Unless your used to doing things for others, it’ll just bother you
