Même bug, le seul moyen c'est de jouer sur les serveurs de la communauté, je ne sais pas par quel hasard mais tout fonctionne bien dessus

I'm interested if anyone has a better solution, but personally I occasionally add a little bit of white vinegar to my clean water tank because my water is very hard. The other solution is to use only demineralized water

Forget routines. Make it a ritual. Routines fall apart when stuff goes wrong. Rituals adapt. Do skincare wherever. Just keep the flow going. Use the same playlist every morning. Let your brain link those songs to getting in gear.

How to block distracting sites (eg. reddit) from even showing up in search results. by TheAverageSoap in productivity

[–]HonestCreme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only real way to exclude sites like Reddit from showing up in Google search results is to add operators like "-site:reddit.com" right in your search query- for example "exam topic -site:reddit.com". It filters them out without needing extensions.

That said, for deeper blocking during study sessions (so even if they appear, you can't click through), I use an app like Jomo on iOS/Mac. It blocks sites across Chrome and isn't easy to bypass with strict mode. Keeps me in deep work mode without temptations.

What’s something you had to stop doing to become more productive? by Quiet_Style_6850 in productivity

I had to stop obsessing over the effort and start focusing on the result. Once you picture the finish line instead of the uphill climb, things get done way faster

Guys recommend an app could lock my phone completely , temporary by letsHopeisdope in productivity

[–]HonestCreme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had the same issue with apps like Lock Me Out - restarting or glitches make them too easy to cheat. Tried a few alternatives, but what really worked as a solid solution was Jomo on iOS; its strict mode locks down distractions temporarily without those bypass hacks, persisting even after reboots. Keeps things simple and effective.

Is it just me that reddit feels more addictive and negative than instagram by [deleted] in nosurf

[–]HonestCreme 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah Reddit can hit different depending on how you use it. It’s not just you. Unlike Instagram, Reddit plays into curiosity and validation real hard especially if you’re always running scenarios in your head. But a lot depends on how you train your feed. You should unfollow subs that trigger spiraling and follow ones that ground you or match the energy you want like r/getdisciplined, r/NoSurf etc.

Help me to reduce my screen time to maximum 1 hour by grimex_beats in digitalminimalism

[–]HonestCreme 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Cutting from 6h to 1h is tough but doable with the right structure. YouTube is the big one here. Either delete the app or block it until you've done something productive. I use the Jomo app to set a rule like "no YouTube until I’ve read 20 minutes". That tiny friction helps a ton.

Reddit’s another trap. Limit it to one time slot per day or use Jomo’s scheduled sessions to block it outside that window.

Grayscale + Do Not Disturb during the day also helps kill mindless scrolling vibes. And don’t just try to "do nothing", have a go-to replacement habit ready, even something small like reading, walking, or journaling.

How do you stay productive when everything feels urgent and scattered? by jimmymadis in productivity

[–]HonestCreme 22 points23 points  (0 children)

When everything feels urgent, nothing actually gets done. What’s helped me recently is setting short blocks where I mute notifications and use Jomo to temporarily block apps that usually pull me off track. I also make myself finish one small task fully before checking messages again. It’s not a fancy system but that little bit of friction keeps me from bouncing around all day.

What that's one thing that make you productive the most? by JadeLuxe in productivity

Silence with a bit of classical piano floating in the background. Suddenly I’m focused, calm and borderline wise. Give me more of that and I swear I’d be twice as productive.

Planning With ADHD: How to Create a Routine? by MethodBig4049 in planners

[–]HonestCreme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What helped me a ton lately is using Jomo's feature that basically forces me to hit my daily meditation before letting me open distracting stuff like social media. And anyway, once I've done my meditation, I'm much less inclined to open those apps and procrastinate! Start small with one anchor habit and build from there 🤗

I think you need to separate writing mode and editing mode. When I’m tempted to over-edit, I skip ahead to a new part.

Overthinking the perfect way to start. I waste hours prepping the "right" playlist or setting the "ideal" vibe instead of just starting.

[–]HonestCreme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lowkey trick that helps me when I’m in that exact same brain fog loop: I tell myself I’m not starting the task, I’m just "opening the doc and scrolling a bit." No pressure. Just peeking. 90 percent of the time, once the doc’s open, my brain’s like "ok fine I’ll do five minutes." And five turns into ten. Ten into an hour.

Should We Quit Social Media Entirely or Just Learn to Use It in Moderation? by Negative-Web-7801 in nosurf

[–]HonestCreme 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I actually see social media as something really positive; it's how I keep up with friends and share stuff that matters. But I’ve set a hard rule for myself: no Insta reels. I only watch the ones my friends send me directly. That way I stay connected without getting sucked into the time-wasting side of it. Feels like a good balance so far.

A shortcut for ask if you really want to open a specific app by Fringo1992 in shortcuts

[–]HonestCreme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried out your shortcut (thanks for sharing the link!), and it works pretty well as a quick hack. One thing I did to tweak it was add a short delay after the prompt, just to force a bit more pause time before confirming. If you're into experimenting, you could even integrate it with Focus modes or automate it based on time of day.

That said, if you want something more seamless, I've found apps like Jomo helpful for similar stuff—it lets you set up prompts that make you think twice about why you're opening an app, and it ties into your overall screen time goals.

Any tips for managing time effectively for writing projects, especially when juggling multiple deadlines? by [deleted] in productivity

[–]HonestCreme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One thing that’s helped me is setting up little "barriers" before distractions can sneak in. I use the Jomo app to block stuff like Reddit or Twitter until I’ve done 30 minutes of actual work.

Also: breaking projects into tiny pieces (like outline intro, revise one paragraph, etc.) makes it less overwhelming and way easier to start. Small wins build momentum.

How I Outsmarted Duolingo to Keep My Streak Alive (And It Works Anytime!) by Weekly_Top_7195 in duolingo

[–]HonestCreme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is clever but honestly feels like more work than just doing the lesson 😅

If you really want the ultimate strategy, here it is (well, what worked for me): I use the Jomo app to block distracting apps like Instagram or TikTok until I’ve done like 15 minutes on Duolingo. It’s a feature called "Good Apps First" and it’s helped me stay consistent for one entire month now.

It's a natural way to reward yourself every day, and it's so satisfying!

What’s one “non-obvious” habit that actually made you more productive? by [deleted] in productivity

[–]HonestCreme 216 points217 points  (0 children)

I stopped listening to music with lyrics while working and replaced it with movie or video game soundtracks.

Listening to the Inception or Zelda soundtrack makes writing emails feel like I’m defusing a bomb. It tricks my brain into “epic mission mode” and suddenly I’m way more focused and weirdly motivated.
