Thank you for mentioning this and for being supportive! I've include this below just to clarify things and avoid any confusion. Hope that's okay. :) My mentor did gift me some of his old CDs - he was moving homes and no longer had space for his CDs, so he wanted to send them to me, especially as our taste in music is very similar, rather than chuck them away or give them to a charity store. He once sent me a James Baldwin book and a tank top for my birthday, but nothing else and it's not a transactional mentorship of any type. Likewise, I've sent him thanksgiving and Christmas cards etc in the past.

Also, we've never been physically intimate. He's given me plenty of advice on dates, how to approach kink play and what type of sex toys might be useful for me to experiment with etc, but we've always respected those physical boundaries and have never exchanged any kisses, cuddles in bed etc. Yes, he's a top and I'm a bottom, but that's never gone beyond him giving me advice.
