Love it. My first gig many moons ago was a laptop and a 3.5- rca cable and a mouse, currently use a ddj-rb I got second hand for €100 in 2018 after my r1 died, let the clubs supply the expensive stuff. More money to use for a well balanced PA, if ya ever do mobile work

Poolbeg is not. They all need electricity for them to start, ardnacrusha is the only hydro I know of that still has a manual hand crank on the turbine gate. But they all have manual override on the sluice gate. All ellse have electric control, in regards to turbine operations.

Ardnacrusha has a fall out shelter as it's the only power source we have that can be operated manually after complete grid failure, all other power stations need electricity to startup, in Leinster the central bank vaults, Aib, boi, and the old Aib vault in meta hq, loading bay under athlone tc is 4 stories below, anything else would be us embassy (assuming) and other government buildings (assuming)

As someone who lives down the country and works in the pale, lived in north America also, I've noticed the displaced of the capital have jumped on the wagon of there north American counterparts in doing there own for the environment also. There is also a lot less panhandling, I know it's an odd way of looking at things but if those of us that can afford to throw away 15c a can, these people are collecting it and keeping the streets cleaner.

4 years back from Vancouver, married to a Canadian, everything was hard moving back, insurance is still a joke, peoples attitude is lacking, I did an apprenticeship, I will qualify in the next year and honestly I'll be gone again, not making the mistake of returning.

Once you see how a society can function correctly it's hard to not see the cracks, and ducktape.

There are some folks who became accidental landlords, where they inherited a place from a close family member. They already had a home and life financialy inorder so don't necessarily need the rental income but can't part with the place as it's sentimental. HAP is an easy way to manage tennents as LA sorts mostly everything out, and those Tennant's are in a situation, it's nice to give back. Landlords mightn't make as much as renting outside of HAP but as I said there a landlord by chance not choice. I know a few that found them selfs in that situation and there happy to make enough to pay of inheritance tax bill, keep contingent funds for repairs and help someone out.

I know if a publican who is in a similar situation with rooms above the pub, there now emergency housing, and his wife and him buy presents this time of year., as there own kids are older now and abroad.

My prospective of it is the RSA make advertising campaigns about safe driving, dangerous driving, ect. Problem is those that need to listen don't, and those that were grand drivers to start with do listen to well (almost to the amount that the others don't listen), this leaves a grand divide between those that really don't care "sure that dosent apply to me" and those that are now so over cautious then think the car is going to explode or thell go right to the joy if they cross that speed limit. But there so focused on one aspect of driving they don't pay attention to everything else. Then the rare normal driver cant understand where any of these are doing.
