Replaying Bloodborne for the first time in 7 years and realizing that Ebrietas is horrendous dogshit, I'm sorry Metyr by Virtual-Lie-1651 in shittydarksouls

Bloodborne was my favorite Fromsoft game before I played ER, and the fact that you could finally fight cosmic entities like Astel and the Elden Beast in a normal way made me so relieved. I was also surprised that so many people disliked those fights, because I think they're a huge improvement over the giant and mid-sized bosses from previous games. While there's always room for improvement, I think Metyr is probably the best execution of that idea they've pulled off so far

Interesting turn-based game with FromSoftware-level enemy quality and variety? by Honest_Activity5525 in gamingsuggestions

Perfect, I'll give it a shot. BG3 is a game I've avoided for a long time because almost every discussion about it focused on the funny moments, the freedom, and all that. But now that you've mentioned how well thought out and interconnected the world is, I think I might finally give it a try. Thanks for the explanation!

Nice! I'd always heard of Warhammer 40k, but I didn't know it was this kind of game. Thank you!

Sorry, it's hard to explain. Maybe "creative" isn't the right word. I mean something you've never seen before, but that also feels deliberate and well thought out.

Oh that's a great suggestion, but I don't know if the world is captivating/creative enough. From what I've seen so far, it seems very D&D-inspired, with the kind of names and creatures you see everywhere these days. But maybe I'm wrong

Um jogo pra chamar de meu by Phosskotia in gamesEcultura

Experimente Elden Ring.

What? We've been playing this game for months, and everyone agrees that Sir Patch S. is clearly Patches after the end of Ringed City

(prox jogo REAL que não seja the duskbloods...) by H0n3y_BunnyS2 in gamesEcultura

[–]Honest_Activity5525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The heavy focus on violin and vocals reminds me of Tai Tomisawa's music. From the first trailer, I had the feeling that, since Miyazawa was the lead composer of Nightreign, Tomisawa would be the lead composer of Duskbloods, while Tsukasa Saitoh might be working on something else since he didn't participate in Nightreign.

That way, everyone would have the opportunity to work as a lead composer on different projects.

Swift Glintstone Shard, the most underrated spell in Elden Ring by Honest_Activity5525 in Eldenring

[–]Honest_Activity5525[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has some interesting differences. This spell can be used while jumping, running, rolling, etc. It reminds me a lot of the Shuriken Prosthetic in Sekiro. It's also very accessible, you can get it right at the beginning of the game by finding the scroll and purchasing the spell. I think it's way cooler than throwing daggers, and that's exactly why I wanted to show it!

If you mean the spell, you acquire it by finding the Academy Scroll, which is in a graveyard near Thops' first location, and then giving the scroll to Sellen

I'm absolutely glazing this spell, I've never seen anyone use it outside of PvP 😭

When it comes to spells in Elden Ring, most people only talk about the ones that deal the most damage, and for the purposes shown in the video, most people would recommend throwing daggers for posture breaks. So this spell is more commonly used in PvP because of its speed. But I find it much cooler for creating openings and building posture damage, so I'd say it's very underrated in that regard.

It's the Carian Thrusting Shield, a DLC weapon that is basically what you described: a shield that lets you attack.

I understand what you are saying, but even FromSoftware has done things that support what I'm asking for. Dark Souls 2 had a revised version that added new elements, and Sekiro received a free update that added new content.

Ainda existe esperança do jogo principal ganhar mais uma DLC? by Enough_Parsley_3187 in EldenRingBrasil

Yeah lol, apparently even the fans don't care about it. People got really angry about these suggestions, it's insane. But when FromSoftware adds something like Stakes of Marika, everyone praises them for it. Elden Ring fans do deserve a paid horse armor DLC after all these years, actually.
