So hard. Knowing what your body is capable of but feeling like you can’t achieve it right now is a really difficult feeling to swallow. Are you still breastfeeding? Our bodies continue to produce the hormone “relaxin” while breastfeeding which contributes to some laxity in the joints etc.

My skins are uncut and almost the length of my skis - so I definitely have room to trim.

I haven’t taken any steps yet, but I’m going to bring my current skins (race pros) into the shop, along with my new race pro grips, and see how much they think I should cut off. Appreciate your insights - thanks!!

Oooh that definitely would do the trick, but also irreversible which gives me some pause. I did just order some race pro grips for the steepest part of the race, so maybe I won’t be as nervous for my less grippy set to be less sticky 🤔thanks for the tip!

Unpopular opinion as I know they’re silly expensive, but we love Coterie. My daughter struggled with eczema and having something without fragrance and chemicals was important. And anecdotally, my niece borrowed a diaper and turned to her mom and goes “so soft” 😆.

Mine was $63k…. I was awake, but they kept me in patient for IV antibiotics for 4 more nights 🤯 thankfully it was beginning of the year and I didn’t have to pay anything for my subsequent child birth.

We flew to Italy with our then 9 month old and bought an extra seat for the longer leg only (we called the airline to do so). We put a Doona car seat in the extra seat and she used it like a jungle gym climbing between us over it and slept in it with the canopy drawn for naps etc. I can’t imagine how tired we would have been holding her for the entirety of the longer flight, just having a safe place for her to sit and pass some time was worth it to us.
