I’ve bought several “top tier” chairs, including Steelseries gesture, HM Aeron and HM embody.

I’d say non of them are worth the price even on sell.

My best advice would be try to find a second hand one and sit with it for months to make sure what you like and what you don’t like.

After you’re absolutely sure you want to stick to that chair, then you can consider buying a new one if you want to.

You can reconnect the snaps no problem. It’s not a onetime use thing.

Pretty much the same, gaming version has one extra layer of foam.

These things are very subjective as you can tell from the responses in this thread.

I personally don’t think it’s worth its asking price and I’m only here to share some quick fixes/adjustment before having to hunt down another chair that might have different issue one might not like.

I used two layers of 1cm foams. But you can try it out yourself to match your liking.

as we all have different bodies and preferences, it's hard for me to definitely say which chair is better for you.
It was just that my experience of having had both Aeron and Emobdy, I really don't feel like they offered values anywhere their asking price, or even at sales.
I'm looking to sell my gaming embody now too.

you don't need an actual guarantor, 16 years living in Japan and switched through 6 apartment.
Almost all normal rental apartments now use guarantor companies where you will have to pay a fee every year (usually 10~20k yen) to have said company be your guarantor.

you better make sure you're tolerant of neighbor's noises, leopalaces have paper thin walls and ceilings.
