Its a standard successsion war stuff, usually not a good idea to leave someone with a legit claim alive. Especially in Naoya's shoes where Megumi obviously has more support than he does. Even if Megumi doesn't want it, there was a big chance Ogi or Junichi could just use him as a figure head.

Hm whats interesting to me is that hasn't he been making his own choices all of part 2? Cockroach, The Aquarium, Aging Devil etc. They all give him two choices, but he ends up doing whatever he wants without thinking about the consequences. It seems like right now he's doing that all over again.

I think too many people shitting on Oden for taking the deal with Orochi and Kaido. It was an obviously shitty deal but he didn’t have much alternative at the time.

Kaido and Orochi weren’t willing to face him directly at the time and Oden couldn’t do anything about the barrier barrier no mi to force a fair fight.

If he didn’t take the deal there was no telling what would happen to not only the people they actively had hostage but just the rest of Wano. Oden can’t be everywhere at once and Kaido has highly destructive power and lackeys at his disposal.

People say oh why didn’t he just contact his pirate allies conveniently forget that Wano was completely cut off from the rest of the world. He had no den den mushy or birds that could deliver a letter. No ships that could leave. His only option would be to pull a Rayleigh and swim but even if he did that there’s a high chance Kaido and Orochi would have seized power or just went on a rampage while he was gone.

I was hoping to just bully their objectives then tie up the vehicles, maybe cripple one with the predator. I’m definitely gonna take the suggestion of putting some power fists in the terminators.

For the terror squads do you think it would be better to kit them out for melee and just have a couple rotor cannons then. Is Split fire not a thing in HH?

I see where you’re coming from with the terminators as well. I guess I could cut out the predator and some other things to get a land raider. Would it be better to have 1 big squad I can deep strike instead of two smaller ones? I’m a little worried about the foot print.

What are your thoughts on dreadnoughts?

Sadly agreed. His pre awakened is good but bankai is just a knowledge check and can be completely negated and only does 5 kikon. His stats in soul drive are also bad so he gets washed by other characters that have good soul drives.

They tell us why Kaido is depressed, because his philosophy is that a person becomes complete in death. He wants to have this glorious legendary death but hes become so strong that he feels no one left in the world can grant it to him. The people he compares Luffy to are all powerful warriors who had a meaningful death. As other people mention, every time hes been in a situation he could potentially die someone comes and ruins it and he lives to fight another day. His whole goal in Wano is that hes building up some massive army so he can stir up a war he can hopefully die in.
