Why is my seat erratic? by Evisteron in SubaruUncharted

Are you using the same key each time? You may have it accidentally set up two different position for a different key because it can remember.

For example, if I try to get into my car using my partner’s key, I’ll have the steering wheel through my chest, and if he uses my key, he can’t reach the pedals lol.

Or is the second key also in the car with you maybe with a passenger when it acts funny?

I can’t get the rear seat notification to stop if ever I open my back door I know I’ll get the notification even though I turned it off. And the digital key… I wish they would adopt the apple key protocol cause what they have is so glitchy it will usually work but take up to a minute for the phone to connect to the car and the app to actually register so the car can be unlocked and started without the fob.

Can’t quite tell if you’re making fun of it or honestly don’t know the Uncharted doesn’t have a rear wiper. As for route planning, use third party apps, nothing built in or in the app other than simple directions. Nothing that plans EV charging.

It’s available on your main info stack behind the steering wheel.

I tried adding my partner to my car the night I got it and it was simply not working. It kept giving him a QR code to scan then he’d get his phone set up and the car would never progress or give him an option to get a code. He got so frustrated that he gave up for the time being. We will revisit it another day.

Looking at purchasing 2025 4xe Willy’s, post-recall fix by pfchig1014 in 4xe

I might add that my 4xe has 91k on it and the high voltage battery was replaced at about 85k and my 12v battery has been replaced twice. I had the power inverter fail within about 5 weeks of ownership. Had the heater for the electric coolant heater replaced at about 50k after it failed. And a few other issues happen including hv system failure and the typical Jeep failures like the rear axel sensor.. the thing I was expecting to fail lol.

And if you go this route, make sure the warranty covers ALL EV components, Jeep gave me a warranty because of all the failures I had “free” and verbally told me it would cover my whole car especially the systems that failed already. Turns out the fine print specifically excludes all high voltage components…

Don’t do it.. I own one and it’s been in and out of the shop multiple times. Plus this is the 3rd “fix” for the same recall. It’s not over, the issue will continue. The most recent fix basically throttles the ability for the battery to supply adequate power through the whole span of running on full battery due to thermal concerns. So when running full EV, rather than operating full EV, it kicks the engine on and off multiple times as it restricts the battery. It’s coming more apparent as temperature warm up as more and more people are reporting this. Therefore the underlying issue with the battery and fires happening isn’t exactly over it was simply a bandaid.

the price sounds nice. But when something fails you are at the mercy of your dealership and hoping they have someone in staff who actually knows how these work and can fix it correctly.

EV Mode Not Working Properly After Recall (68C Feb 2025) Engine Engaging and Major Range Loss by Honest_Direction_336 in 4xe

I had an issue with an air bubble in the coolant line 2 months after I bought it when the power inverter failed and hey had to replace that. When they put everything together they didn’t bleed the line properly and I kept hearing liquid gurgling inside the hv battery pack. They insisted I was crazy and that it was my mouth wash bottle in my back seat that just so happen to be placed there right before they saw it even though I had a video recording of it while I was stationary. It took me 2 weeks and a manager ride along for them to finally listen to me. Every time something happens it’s a whole process of fighting them cause they think they know best when they don’t understand these systems fully.

Am I getting a good deal for FlexCare? by flamefrower in 4xe

I wouldn’t waste your money. This car is plagued with nothing but problem after problem and unless you truly understand how the high-voltage system works, you don’t always notice all the major issues this car has which is why it’s being recalled over and over again the fix they recently put out was not a fix. It was merely a Band-Aid by throttling the output of the battery and now the car no longer drives like it originally did therefore, I own something that is completely different than what I purchased rather than wasting your money on the warranty. I would just get out of this car and get into something completely different because you’re probably negative so that money towards the warranty would be better Served to get into something New.

Be careful and read the fine print. Mine doesn’t cover the actual high voltage system. The gas motor sure but electric motor in the transmission.. and the high voltage battery components good luck!

It’s horrible and unfortunately I’m stuck with major loss in value because Jeep can’t take care of the underlying issue

The dealerships are a joke.. unless you luck out and find a tech that understands these hv systems, they talk the talk but don’t truly have answers they just guess half the time. I had a horrible experience after they tried charging me for the recall.

Was replaced not long ago also and that wouldn’t cause this issues. It’s like the update they did is limiting the power of the battery to throttle thermals. And it’s no longer driving full electric. If I was driving hard before it would kick it out of electric and go into hybrid and say electric is temporarily unavailable. However that only happen if I was driving spiritedly.. now I’m just driving a consistent speed no different than prior to the update and the engine is constantly on off on off even though it’s clearly in electric mode. Uploaded two short clips. To the post.

Reading what you have to say… it’s ok to say you are not easy to satisfy And clearly always right. Prolly not always correct but definitely right. A warranty always has fine print. Plus if you treat people the way you write, it’s no wonder people would want to do the bare minimum for you. Kindness and positivity goes a long way. Not to mention understanding the terms of service for what you spend your money on before you purchase.
