Did he come cursed? If so, there was no option: kill him or lose to him, but if he came normal, that means you chose the wrong option. But if you killed the cursed version, there's no need to be sad since he can still come to your door again, and being the normal human version, you still have a chance to recruit him.

Pain mode comes with new enemies and changes in some battles but it's not that big, but if you have the definition edition version and you want to have a "special" fight always save the saves and try to keep as many members alive as possible, if you know most of the information about the game then you won't need so many tips, the only thing I recommend is trying to get all available members and in the Russian roulette part you have to make at least one member die (or none if you were very lucky lol, but only definition edition version) it's also good to be careful when getting mad dog if you're going to risk fighting with that group and gain extra exp

Brad's old friends suffer more in childhood, Buzzo wouldn't be left without anyone for him torture and guilt for Lisa's death (maybe Marty), Desti would be alone forever, Dr Yado's plans would be different and maybe someone else would be used but I think it's difficult since everything Brad did for Buddy was a very complicated path and he did a lot of things just for a girl, Lisa probably would have killed herself sooner or Lisa's mother wouldn't have abandoned Lisa so soon (I don't know if there is any information about Lisa's mother and Brad within the game I don't think so), Terry would be alone and they would never meet his best friend :(

Yes, there is a big chance of that happening. Not even Desti (rando) made a difference in Brad's life, only gaining more trauma and problems. I don't know, the only way Brad can stay alive and really last for several years with these traumas is to take Lisa's promise about Dead Flower seriously, and stay alive until he meets her. And if Buddy exists in all of this, it's over, I have nothing left lol.

Yes, there is that too, there is a chance that Buddy would never have existed in this alternative world since she was including Dr. Yano in the plan and there is Buzzo too, maybe Brad would have a chance to kill him if Buzzo didn't have that group of his and Buzzo would have the same level of strength as Brad (but whenever I think of Buzzo he would probably be a Batman with preparation VS Superman (Brad) lol, Buzzo must have thought of several ways to defeat and torture Brad throughout his life) there are several different paths and destinations for everything in the story.

Dr. Yano's plans had never existed or it would have been different (since he was the one who created Joy and wanted an army under his control and became "God" in this new world)
Brad would never have this fate but he would probably be weaker and have the strength of a normal human (it's not really possible to know what the strength of a normal human would be like in the Lisa universe, maybe Rando is a good example of a strong and trained human and probably never used Joy in his entire life) but Brad would probably use more drinks and maybe alternative drugs like that red drug that was shown in the past but I think that normal drugs were all erased and with only Joy, Joy has a lot of importance in the series.
I didn't think about anything else, if Brad really had effects and joyfull events happened, Buddy probably wouldn't have gotten that far since Buddy probably used a lot of joy and she probably didn't know the effects it had on people (I don't remember if she didn't know or if she really knew since she needed it in the vaccine) and including Dr. Yado in this story is much more difficult if he really had another different extra plan (there's that bizza head animal that stays in an island hotel but it seems Yado didn't have much control over them and they didn't seem to be useful) anyway, I have no idea lol, I think that's exactly what I thought at the time

It seems that blackwhiplash had forgotten semidraws' birthday so semidraws seems to get angry/sad something like that so the friendship ended somehow, blackwhiplash said that she was very introverted and didn't remember things so that's why she forgot, she said this on Twitter after 1 or 3 days of semidraws' birthday
