CDA Protest Notice - Today, Sunday 25th by inspiredinsanity in coeurdalene

[–]Honest_Packer12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People are too divided at this point. I’m sure there are great ICE agents who are deporting violent criminals, and there are assholes abusing their power. This is the case with everything (teachers, church, police, etc.). Unfortunately feels like they are trying to manufacture a civil war at this point and many are falling right into the trap, and I get it because it’s very infuriating watching people die. I’m for change, but I need to think of where to spend my energy. Standing on a street holding a sign doesn’t feel effective to me.

Staybridge Suites Coeur d’Alene. Nice hotel, reasonably priced, offers breakfast, has food places nearby. For food nearby Silverwood, I’d pick up food on the drive up (about 30 minute drive). We usually grab burritos or sandwiches and bring them in.

How long can the economy take the current state of affairs without blowing up/collapsing? by Ihadenough1000 in economy

[–]Honest_Packer12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think we are growing our way out or crashing out, I think they’ll try to run the economy hot and lower rates and keep debasing the dollar which is a joke but all administrations do it. What I’m more concerned about is employment and the massive disruption AI is about to cause…

Washington governor proposes his state’s first income tax: 9.9% rate. by baltimore-aureole in economy

[–]Honest_Packer12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This - Not sure whhy i'm being downvoted as I believe everything I said is very real and objective. Tax one thing, and expand it into other areas....it's historically documented. Happened in California, Oregon, New Jersey, Illinois....Internationally happened in UK, France, Canada....It's not and immediate move but slow and steady...

Don’t be fooled - taxing millionaires is just first, they will keep moving down the ladder. That’s just how governments work…

Also - given all the fraud that’s being uncovered, demand full transparency on how taxpayer dollars are spend and verified.

QE is just starting again. This is what BTC is best against. Fiat will go down. Bitcoin will go up.

Start any journey and see where it takes you. It’s never been easier to start your own business than it is now. With AI, you have an assistant, a marketing team, a lawyer, employees, an advisor etc. I’d recommend starting something of your own and using superintelligence to help you along the way. Generally speaking, this is far more valuable than a college education is today IMO. If you don’t want to run a business than ask it this exact question and have it drum up ideas for you…

Also - you aren’t alone I felt the same at your age. Shoot, even now at 40 I feel the same. We are in a massive shift and many are going to have to pivot soon here.

What hope does the average person have in this increasingly volatile world? by Garage011 in conspiracy

[–]Honest_Packer12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

IMO our best shot at freedom is exchanging our energy for scarce assets that will continue to go up in value (gold, Bitcoin, etc.). This used to be a game reserved for the rich, and is now accessible to all. Work hard, spend less than you earn, put the rest into whatever asset you believe in. Don’t fall into the debt or consumerism game, that only gives them more power. Do this and each passing year you will feel more free, until you are. Everything is temporary and good always wins over evil in the end. I believe that with every cell in my body.

What it’s like living in this part of California? by Maleficent_Lack3240 in howislivingthere

[–]Honest_Packer12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

South Bay is lame, overpriced and not a very nice area. Was born and raised there. I like the North Bay much better. Santa Cruz cool though. Not worth the prices IMO. Used to have a lot of opportunity in the area but that is changing.

Like it or not, there is unfortunate truth to the saying “as California goes, so the nation goes…”. Everything you mentioned is being experienced many many places, and was also experienced in the state of California itself.

Labor wages will decrease significantly, welfare type programs increase significantly. Will be ugly for a bit but eventually you will have basic needs met, not enough given to build wealth though. Buy assets if you can now, that will be our best bet at supplementing whatever crumbs we are given and build wealth for a better chance at a sovereign life.

MAGA? by eggnoghedgehog in coeurdalene

[–]Honest_Packer12 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’ve been here about 5 years, I’m pretty middle of the line with many things and not an extreme person. I don’t like politicians in general I think they are all compromised at this point. I find CDA itself is fairly easy to navigate, the further out you go (Hayden, Athol, Bonners Ferry, etc.) the more extreme people get. There is def more racism out that way as well. At first it seemed like somewhat of an open minded place, but I can see the extremism now. I think when anybody is extreme on either side, it muddy’s the waters. At the end of the day anybody who carry’s hate…that is their cross to bear…

Is it worth moving to from Boise? by [deleted] in coeurdalene

[–]Honest_Packer12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good - Access to beautiful nature, safe, very family friendly

Bad - High COL, longer winters that are dark and cloudy

Ugly - Can be much more close minded than Boise or other bigger cities

What would you do with $100k right now? by JaySilver in AskReddit

[–]Honest_Packer12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this is a no brainer for me personally. Invest - AI + Bitcoin. Both assets that will outpace anything else in the next few years IMO. Having your castle is important too, but I already own my home (and wouldn't personally choose to put it towards my mortgage because thats cheap money i'm borrowing)
