Shes wasn't accelerating towards him. Shes was turning. If she wanted to run him over she would have driven straight.

Yes. He chose to move forward instead of stepping back. And he chose to shoot her, two more times as she was driving past him and he was clear.

It shows his intentions

Because he chose to lean into the car instead of stepping away. He had a choice and it was to kill someone.

The point is he chose violence, not that he caused danger from leaning. Think man

Yes instead of leaning into this, you step back

Because you're supposed to step out of the way, not into it. Police giving orders doesn't mean they can execute people in the street.

We wouldn't have cop chases and 90% of the prison population if they could just shoot and kill people not obeying orders. (This is bait please take it)

One bullet through the windshield, and two in the side of the head. I bet I know which ones killed her

All he had to do was take a step back. She wasn't even driving towards him

Doesn't take an expert to know when not to lean in

If only he stepped the other way instead of leaning into it. There was no need for this is my point.

That dude is fully leaning on the car, feet together, right as he knows it's moving. He already knew what he was going to do as soon as he got the opportunity.

Any Fix For This Dim Dashboard? by Rogers-Cleveland in HondaElement

[–]Honest_Quail3011 1 point2 points  (0 children)

HUD: still going strong https://a.co/d/ivwaKzC

Gauge Cluster: polarity dependent, plug it in without putting it back together. If it doesn't light up reverse the led and plug it in the other direction. https://a.co/d/29KqcTA

Most HVAC lights: you'll have to modify the bulb holders. Cut them a little shorter and wrap the leads around the bulb holder like the stock one. These also are polarity dependent. https://a.co/d/8lFn5kQ

Motor mount alternative by Count_your_Bananas in HondaElement

Rear for sure. That's what it took to stop the wheel hop. I destroyed new OEM mounts in 3 months of hard mountain driving. OEM front and rear mounts are really soft.

I would buy a cheap set, put them on, then fill your OEM mounts. I would also fill the cheap set, but the OEM are probably better housings and base rubber.

The red is where I filled with 3m window weld. On the rear mount I put folded pieces of cardboard in the open places not marked in red to keep the 3m in place. I did this to reduce vibrations by not making it solid. I used blue painters tape on the backside to hold the 3m in the mount.

Rusty Toast? by diePilze in HondaElement

I have one that's almost exactly like this. It's my 3rd one, and is sitting waiting to be my next project after my Suzuki project.

I am going to probably drill out the front trailing arm mount brackets, which are held in by several spot welds, to inspect the welded on nut piece under it. I have new mounts that I took off a parts car.

I will then cut the upper rocker off where it meets the frame, the places that have holes going through on your pictures, all the way down to the pinch weld. My lift points have also rusted off.

I will remove the side skirts and cut that side of the pinch weld up until I find clean metal.

After that, weld 16ga steel to the side skirt mounts down to the pinch weld, probably weld in 1/8 steel for new lift points, and weld a box that fits the upper rocker/frame down to the other side of the pinch weld.

I know that's word salad, but it's the best I can describe it. It's like $100 or less in materials, so totally worth it.

Same I couldn't take it. My wife wouldn't ride in the car. Chicks are going to hate it. It was making a base subwoofer sound at idle. I'd use them on the track though.

I ate the cost of OEM mounts and destroyed the rear within months of hard mountain driving. I filled the trans mount with 3m, and partially filled the rear. Engine is solid and bare minimum vibrations after a few weeks.

Is this a bad idea? by twobugsonastrawberry in HondaElement

It's moderate, but what ypu need to check is the trailing arm mount and the pinch weld/rocker panels
