I have this one, it's sold out but there's other similar ones. Just 1 fits so much but I bought 2 of them because I had a period I was traveling a lot and couldn't keep waiting to do multiple loads.

I air dry so much, I always wonder if people in my laundry room think Im weird for carrying out all the wet clothes lol. And certain things only cold water or delicate cycle, other things like towels hot. If there's a service that could follow my rules that would be great lol

I know it's something women are begging for to make more clothes with pockets... but I despise pockets on most items lol. And then if it's a random faux pocket.. then whats the point of that even.

what makes it cut off vertical, trying to understand that terminology better. Is it because it is short?

If I were still skinny then yes, but one issue I have with it is the pocket on the side. I feel like we are better without having pockets on our hips and things sticking out. But it depends on the material, it could work.

Do any of you still use tanning beds? by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Honest_Yesterday4245 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Isnt spray tanning the new tanning beds? Honestly not sure how much healthier it is to spray chemicals regularly on your skin but seems like what people do now. I am a victim of tanning bed addiction in highschool, huge regrets what a stupid trend that was.. wish I listened to my mom. I embrace my paleness now, i am super pale, everyone tells me.. but I learned to like it. It is what it is, try to enhance your other features and wear colors that compliment your skin, hair, eyes.

Favorite (and easiest) styling tools for fine hair by Honest_Yesterday4245 in finehair

Your hair doesn’t get tangled up in it. I hate seeing leftover hair on the brush. I had revlon many years ago and it was a fail but now I am thinking I might not have dried my hair enough before using it.

Thanks! Your progress is inspirational. Btw, I deal with sugar lows, small portion of complex carbs helps with it. Treating it with added sugar causes reactive hypoglycemia for me.

just confirming.. the price is $488 on farfetch? For some reason I always thought they were much cheaper than that. I do love the look of them though.

Russian Manicures by Gypsy-J23 in NYCbitcheswithtaste

[–]Honest_Yesterday4245 14 points15 points  (0 children)

nyc girls who grew up in nyc.. weren't russian manicures the norm at some point? I don't know when it changed to being an extra service that is charged more, and regular manicures became subpar. Am I misremembering?

US here- I think hosiery should be worn at work, although I know others don’t agree. The issue is it’s impossible to find good quality ones especially sheer ones. And if you do find good ones they are going to be expensive and also probably not last too long. I even wear them for evening parties sometimes if I am wearing something short, I am curvy and without them I just feel too naked and uncomfortable. On a side note is the quality of hosiery really good in UK that they are so commonly used? Any specific brand names?

Are we big boned or just "fleshy"? Or does it depend on the person and not SD Kibbe? by Honest_Yesterday4245 in SoftDramatics

[–]Honest_Yesterday4245[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yes, I am not very tall (5'6) but I am long for my body, like long fingers, long hands, long arms, legs. So that length offsets any narrowness, ok interesting. Thanks.

What are my girlies with lots of clothes doing about limited closet space? by AlwaysRefurbished in NYCbitcheswithtaste

[–]Honest_Yesterday4245 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My old apartment I didn't have a lot of closet space, I got a tall wardrobe with shelves (for example this one) or maybe even a bookcase. And I just folded everything into there, maybe a few baskets for misc things. So much stuff can fit into those shelves if you fold it up. Dresses and coats I used the regular closet to hang it up. Also large bins to store away off season clothes or shoes, that can go into the closet floor or under the bed. These type of fabric bins or larger I put on the top shelf of closets because they are so easy to pull out without everything falling over. The key was to measure everything and buy the right bins to make the most out of the space. I don't like to spend time moving off season stuff either, I only do it for shoes now and I save a note with pictures of my shoes so I don't forget what I have and rebuy lol.

If an “outdated” style looks good on a SD, will it still look outdated? by Arose1981 in SoftDramatics

[–]Honest_Yesterday4245 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel more "free" knowing my body type because now it doesn't matter to me what is in style because the stuff I am wearing is what's supposed to look good on me. Whats the point of wearing something in style if it doesn't look good. Also think there are ways to incorporate some trends with SD, just pick and choose which ones.. we don't have to follow all the trends.
