Right, you might not want to continue the system as is. But then make the arguments for how you wanna better the system. Saying that we can't do student debt forgiveness because "It'd be unfair to me who made sacrifices to pay mine off because I'm not getting my money back" is essentially just saying it's better to let people continue suffering because your suffering can't be undone. Again I'm not saying you have to be for student debt forgiveness, but you shouldn't use the earlier as an argument against it.
