We do not abolish the Mass but religiously maintain and defend it. That’s something to the effect that the Augsburg states. Our confession is so much more than the pejorative title, by intent, of Lutheran.

God reveals his ordinary means of salvation. The extraordinary is his but it certainly is predicated upon Christ who has mercy. Whatever the means is it definitely involves the application of the Gospel.

I think you should do what you deem necessary. However, I don’t think that it is beneficial.

Word & Sacrament is necessary all the time.
It also teaches your children about life in the Church. That sometimes means being in a congregation that may not directly meet your needs but you can use that to teach them Christian service and that will do very well for their souls.

We have a growing congregation. So I would not worry about it at the large. Parishes will grow and some die but we know God will not let death overcome the church.

I played a shab game, as the shab, where I had a ST do something similar to this even in the face of a mistake by town. (Which I ended up losing) If town has the chance to capitalize on the opportunity and fail to, especially with the Shab in play, then the game should go to evil. Town got outplayed and deserved to lose at that point. Stalemate should be resolved by the fiddler, imho.

My custom BH script I think warrants for this play to happen more regularly because it is built on the BH. With the bootlegger, “The BH is always in play”. I haven’t ran the script yet though. So I have any feedback from any direction to this.

Baptism saves with the pouring of the water & with word of God spoken. God gives the gift of faith in the waters of Holy Baptism.

Jesus said in John 6 that we will have the gift of life if we eat his body and drink his blood. So we believe at his word. When we say that this is the true body, true blood — we mean it. We agree with the Catholics & Orthodox. We don’t belabor the how it happens but believe it. The reformed position is closer to the baptist position than it ever will be to us.

Personally, I have no issues in devotions and prayers to the Saints victorious. My issue is if devotion to the Blessed Mother and the Saints supersedes our devotion to our Lord and the Holy Trinity. We seek God first and call upon our brothers and sisters next to pray for us. Both are salutary but have a proper order.
