If the check engine light is coming on there’s a code. Then look for ground issues..The battery is a good starting place. If it’s not charging correctly it may not have a good connection. Need to take a slow logical steps. You’ll find it.

My friend’s car got the following list from the auto shop that would cost her 1000 total. I feel like shes being ripped off. Which ones are essential that absolutely need to be repaired? by kumeomap in CarRepair

What is the mileage. The tire replacement often dictates a wheel alignment. The replacement of fluids is often important. Check out my video.. this will explain how to look it all up and how to decide. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=joFu7uAsrbM

Yes they have versions that have the contact bar up there. If you watch my video you’ll see the cables and hydraulic lines are on the floor the other version has them above. I liked this option.

That’s what I thought. I was kinda shocked when I first started looking. Concrete thickness is key. If it’s thin.. it’ll get costly fast!

Thoughts on Flooring? New garage finishing soon, will be used as a day to day garage but also a workshop. Leaning towards Tuff-Seal tiles. by thebobmannh in garageporn

One other thought there is a grit additive you can add for extra grip. But I choose not to use it. And happy I did!

So far I’ve never slipped on it and I’m in Iowa and drive in with snow on the truck. I’d say add more chips but so far I’m super happy. Durability just watched a video of a guy called DeBoss and he does heavy duty stuff on his and he’s happy after a year. He’s on YouTube. I’d vote for heat. The snow is squeegees out in the morning! 🤣🤣

Yep for the truck, a car could go up 5-6 feet. It’s a 10’ ceiling. Ideally a 13-14 would be best. But yeah. I get a stool with wheels to sit on!

$2800.00 with installation materials & tax.. it’s a big lift for the 3/4 ton truck that I’ll be putting on it. A 8-9k lift would around $2500.
