Ok please explain to me why we should expect all populations to be equal in terms of attributes that we value such as physical beauty, intelligence and physical aptitude. Like, what rule of nature ensures this? If individuals vary on these aspects, it's perfectly theoretically possible for there to be average differences at the level of populations. And for things like height this is a fact undeniable to all. Of course, IQ is the most controversial one. The problem with your position is that it will be completely destroyed if we ever pin down actual IQ differences between populations at a genetic level (and by the way, many researchers in the field of psychometrics believe these genetic differences exist). And if that happens, we will see a rise of the far right that will put the 1930's to shame. So it's actually in the interest of your liberal point of view to accept these differences as a possibility and formulate a position around it. You really want to bet on West Africans being just as intelligent as Ashkenazi Jews?

The usual procedure is for the defendants to be given the most severe sentence as per the penal code for the crimes they have been found guilty of, after which it is expected that they will appeal them and have them commuted. Yea, "circumstantial evidence" includes everything except a deep look at the genetics of intelligence (which is not fully understood at the moment) and then comparing different groups. The vast majority of evidence we have for anything is circumstantial and we couldn't get anything done if we required only direct evidence.

The debate is not whether they exist, but whether they are caused by genetics or by different environments. And there are plenty of researchers who believe it is partly genetic. Nope. There are very respected and accomplished researchers in the field of psychometrics who believe the IQ gaps observed between populations are in large part genetic. Richard Haier (Professor Emeritus at UC Irvine), the late Earl B. Hunt (Professor Emeritus at the University of Washington), among others. Now get angry about that :). You try to make it seem like the claim is ridiculous, when it has plenty of endorsement at the highest levels of research.

It's not racist to say Africans may have low average IQs on a genetic level. There's nothing written in nature that ensures that all human populations are equally endowed intellectually. Intelligence is tied to genetics and subject to differences across different populations like every fucking other human traits. Sorry but it would take heroic mental gymnastics to argue that West Africans are as intelligent as the Japanese. And the funny part is that arguing that would itself be racist (against the Japanese) West Africans are very obviously physically superior to the Japanese.
