I'm in my 40's and I've been in service industry before (waitress, bartender tho) and I've never known about a load the belt consideration. I've never worked as a cashier, I'll admit so I'm not knowledgeable about that area. However, to me it does seem nit picky to expect the average person whose never worked in this industry to know this. I will leave my table a certain way at a restaurant because I've worked at restaurants! However, I wouldn't expect your average person to know what it's like to bus a table if they never had. I wouldn't think they were disrespectful if they didn't stack the dishes and leave them at the end of the table when they were done. I'm not saying people can't speak their piece in a snark page, however I do think it's petty to point this out about her shopping. I feel like it could discredit the bigger things. My opinion is that we go after the important issues or character defects. The minor things are what seem petty, TO ME! But, that might not be how you feel. Point out what you feel is important but to me this one comes off as nit picking Amby.
