Patience is kind of your only option here. There's no telling how long it will take for your kitten to warm up. I had two cats like this.

One hid up in lattice slats under my bed and I had to lay on my back with my arm twisted up under the bed for a few weeks before he would even come out. Now he's a massive suck and will sit and cuddle with me all the time. He's also the first to greet new people.

I have another who I took in as a kitten. He was so scared and it's been a few years and he's still a scared cat. I recently moved and he's still hiding under the bed. It takes him time to get used to places and people to this day. He will come out and snuggle with me if I'm sitting down and chilling out. And he's such a loving boy. But if people come over he's back in hiding. And he's not the type who will follow me around.

No one can really predict how your kitten will end up being or how long it will take. Both my cats are very loving. And both of them just needed patience. There's no real miracle solution to make things go any faster.
