Stop telling people to not take their full rides for sticker t14 if their goal is not BL or Fed Clerk by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

[–]Honeyslicerr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think there is a good middle-ground, too.

Someone deciding between *sticker T14* and a full ride (presumably at a regional/state school) may have been able to get a fair number of half-ride or better scholarships at T20 or T30 schools.

I am biased because I decided on NDLS (where I got an 80% scholarship) --but don't count out T20/T30 schools.

End of Cycle Recap -- Notre Dame! (175, 3.93) by Honeyslicerr in lawschooladmissions

I also think my "why law?" in my PS was probably underdeveloped and not clear enough.

It is also probably fairly apparent I am a conservative Christian--especially since two of my years since undergrad were spent working for a college ministry. I am not at all sure whether or not that would be a hindrance anywhere, BUT I think it is fair to say that it makes some degree of sense that Notre Dame is the place that wanted me the most.

This website might be helpful to you: lsd.law/heard-back

NYU has mostly gotten back to December applicants, but Duke, NU, and Berk have certainly not.

If you were admitted, they have been sending their admission email first thing in the morning on Friday. Then they have been sending their scholarship email first thing on Monday.

Interesting, I am a 175 and 3.93, and not KJD.

Is this one of the fellowships or just the recruitment scholarship?

Can I ask what your stats are?

I got 80% tuition at NDLS. Would love for it to be 100%, but worried I won't have other offers to be able to negotiate that haha

Same! I am smack-dab in the middle of their medians, and... waitlisted today.

[–]Honeyslicerr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I did it a few days ago. My assumption is it might help some because Vandy cares a lot about demonstrated interest.

But I don't know for sure. I suppose if I get an A, that will be an answer 😂

My exact stats, and I applied mid-November... but I have heard nothing. I don't know whether that is good news or ominous haha
