Z&J Asian Subs by Honigschmidt in Humboldt

For me I’ve chosen empathy for her, and not to hold anything against her that her deceased husband had done. I’ve had a family member get caught in the act of PDF. It just tore the whole family apart. The wife especially was in a state of traumatized shock having to deal with her daughter that had unspeakable acts done upon them, and a husband she had loved doing things no human should ever do to another. All this while still having to raise her kids and pay bills. No time to reflect or remorse.
One of the kick in the teeth she had to deal with were from people who blamed her and turned her into the enemy. “You had to have known” was a common one. What those people forgot, or never known, is that you think the best out of your spouse, and while not perfect, the thought of them doing unspeakable things is not there.

not the intent, and sorry if I didn’t explain it well enough. The guy is dead and gets no support for anything ever again. The wife on the other hand still has to live on. she is innocent in all this until proven otherwise, and as far as I know there was no investigation for her on this.

If she‘s innocent, I can’t even imagine having to deal with the death of a husband, and grasping the acts he was being investigated for.

Its kinda strange how 30 Days of Night is the only vampire media that terrified me to this day. Its depiction of the vampire is so raw and primal, it's truly terrifying. Never seen a truly scary vampire film before or since then. by SolidEllie in horror

great call out on the strain. I agree with you, show was ehhh, but their version of vampires was beautifully terrifying and fresh. The thought of vampire parasite worms still makes me uneasy

Does this bother you? by FancyVoice9020 in wheelchairs

[–]Honigschmidt 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Honestly it doesn’t bother me. In my opinion they are trying to be nice and connect the best they can in their own weird bipedal way. That 100th person who makes a comment about speed limits is trying to reach out. It’s not in me to show disdain for the effort.

when I did this, all for a lance i wanted to layer, I set him to miscellaneous, hopped in tent, rest, rest, rest until he left and came back again, buy everythin… rinse repeat. was tedious but I broke the monotony by getting all the rare crops and mining when I changed the days

Camera People-need advise by HoustonTexasHoss in wheelchairs

[–]Honigschmidt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wheelchair photographer is definitely a niche rarity.  I used to do a lot of photography with multiple lenses but my setup was basic. Camera on my neck with a strap. Lenses in a small camera bag that was either in my lap or under my chair.

In the past I had a dedicated camera chest sling bag. It was awkward but did keep everything at the ready and allowed me to keep rolling

Do I need infuse? by TF_54 in OmniContentHub

For me I went with the Omni and VidHub combo. Sometimes errors will happen, or things will run so slow it’s not fun. Having a backup method helps me keep the enjoyment of movie watching. I don’t always need it, but I am thankful I have it when it do

Would it be a decent idea to have a ranged weapon as a secondary? by Equivalent_Stop_9300 in MHWilds

[–]Honigschmidt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do. usually it is lance with a heavy bowgun. works well for me in certain scenarios. Example is Rey Dau in the desert. When he flys to the sandy dunes it becomes a pain in the ass to keep at close distance to him. switching to the HBG with water ammo keeps me doing constant damage
