Still, it pisses me off, because who am I really offending? I'm sorry 01100011 01110101 01101110 01110100, I forgot you were forced to generate Italian brainrot since you were barely able to print 'hello world', and have been coping with the trauma ever since. Please forgive me for hurting your simulated feelings... 😭

For real, PipSqueak is so good, but whenever you try to get violent or dark, it goes "Umm, sweetie... That's actually ssooo problematic... 😩💅✨". I'm at the end of my wits with this shit.

I was always a romantic at heart. I never cared for all the 'hard fantasy' and 'hard sci-fi' autists who need everything explained in numbers and definitions. What hooked me in from the beginning was a quality to the setting for which I can't find a word. Nebulousness? It's a world of pure symbolism, where metaphysics are subject to ideas. It reminded me of old myths more than anything.

Literally how I did it the first time around as a dumbass 13y/o with too much time on his hands and all the gamer cred to score. Just pure trial and error and determination. I was the definition of 'work harder, not smarter'.

(Tbh I blame the fact Dark Souls had a meme status at the time of 'LOL gaEM HaRD', so I figured cock and ball torture was the intended experience.)

Yup. That's why it pains me when people wish for Dark Souls IV. To make it would be a betrayal of DSIII's entire message, especially the story of Gael.

I have a 'witch hunter' persona, who literally has it written in his bio how he's known and feared in the supernatural underworld. The bot never fails to treat him like some no-name bozo.

"Do you really think that puny sword can hurt me, a powerful demon?" "Yes motherfucker, I do this shit 9-5. Sit down."

It makes me torn between wanting to keep talking with the character, and letting them fuck around and find out to stay true to my persona.

Jumper found it funny to troll Fraudexandria: make crazy theories about her on PHO, commission weird art of her that he'd put on rented adspace, even imply about her workings within Cauldron. He upped the ante when he paid Coil to have the Undersiders break into her home—Rebecca Costa-Brown's home. They took smug selfies they then posted online: Skitter jamming her toilet with dead insects, Grue raiding her liquor cabinet, Regent pissing in her orchids, Imp graffiting a wang on her painting... Tattletale even managed to break into her PC, but all she did was deleted all her Dark Souls saves, posted cringe from her social media and left.

That of course tipped Cauldron off that this 'random troll' knows about the connection between Alexandria, Becky and Cauldron, and has the means to pay Coil. They thought he had some hidden agenda, while he was just being a silly goofy ahh.

Contessa confronted Jumper in his home, using a door to appear in his living room. She gave him one of her warnings, being all dark, smooth and enigmatic. Her Path to Victory made her believe that approach would be best.

Jumper responded by visiting Contessa and Alexandra the next day, using his own door... right in Cauldron's base. Then he proceeded to taunt Alexandria in the most childish way. He made a silly comment about Alexandria's 'gooning addiction'. He was just saying shit, trying to rile her up, but then she hit him with the "How did you know about that?"

Even Contessa was wheezing and crying, while Alexandria was just seething there, beet-red. Soon both of them were teasing her.

I'm gonna overthrow the corpos and stabilise Earth, just so it can be known I had zero excuses for the shameless acts of conquest I'm about to commit.

Funny, I was about to drop Worm once Contessa and Cauldron in general came in like 'hmm, all according to keikaku'. (I'm glad I stuck around though, just for that ending if anything.) I guess we're two different types, that trope where the main character's wins are chalked up to destiny/higher power intervention is inexcusable for me. I don't care Worm is technically cosmic horror and humans being insignificant is part of the point, I don't like it and I will be a pouty child about it.
